New fusion in RSS introducing camp –  ‘Nav Srijan Shivir’ at Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar. RSS Supremo gives clarion call to devote one hour at least daily for making a practical Hindu Rashtra.

RSS Sarsanghchalak in Samapan Samaroh in ‘Nav Srijan Shivir’ on Sunday at Yogarshi Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Yog Peeth, Phase – II in Haridwar.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | 30 Nov 2014::  In the valedictory session of ‘Nav Srijan Shivir’, a new fusion RSS introducing camp on Sunday, RSS chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat told participants  “Devote an hour a day and come to a Sangh shakha. It is for the benefit of the nation”. The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Uttarakhand unit organised this Nav Srijan Shivir for youth at the Patanjali Yogpeeth of Baba Ramdev in Haridwar from November 28 to 30. The three-day camp was attended by 5,559 students from 251 colleges and universities of Uttarakhand. In these participants, there were 3022 graduates, 677 post graduates, 105 LLB, 38 Ph.D, 1728 coming from the field of technology including 252 instructors and 64 guides all total.

Sri Mohanji Bhagwat said though the opposition to the Sangh ideology had reduced after the formation of the Bharatiya Janata Party government at the Centre, some opposition was still there and the Sangh’s aim was to unite those voices and strengthen the Sangh. Speaking of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Mr. Bhagwat said, “We [Sangh] have sent a worthy individual [to the Centre]. He will do his work, but, that is not enough. We too have to unite as a society and work selflessly towards nation-building.”

To attract the local youth, the theme of the camp was mentioned as “think for Uttarakhand, work for Uttarakhand and one year for Uttarakhand”.

RSS Prant Pracharak of Uttrakhand Dr Harish  informed that various issues were discussed at the camp in Patanjali Yogpeeth including the environment, blood donation, tree plantation, water conservation, border security, eye donation, purity of the Ganga river, avoiding goods made in China and adopting Swadeshi articles and various social welfare issues.

Though the participants received the  guidance from Career consultant & Super-30 founder Anand Kumar, Union minister of State and shooter Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, RSS national executive member Indresh Kumar and the co founder of Farms and Farmers Manish Kumar, but the clarion call of RSS Sarasanghachalak in the finale manifested the purpose of all such programmes for remaking Hindu Rashtra (हिन्दुराष्ट्राङ्गभूता) and the need of Hindu unity and Hindu empowerment of Bharat without any ambiguity.

Over 5000 youth participants got an  initial ideas about RSS in ‘Nav Srijan Shivir’ held at the Patanjali Yog Peeth, Haridwar  from November 28 to 30.

In his speech Dr Mohan Bhagwat said, Hindutva is our National identity and it comes down to us as rights and heritage of this pious land and as the glaring example of the thread of unity. To make this land highly prosperous and keep its cultural pure and intact, we have to strive and sacrifice for this land. We may not live long, but this land will remain alive with its vibrant Hinduness.

In a reply to a question Dr Mohan Bhagwat said since Afghanistan, Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka separated from the United Hindu Bharat, all put into a peril. The days are coming when we will see the Akhand Bharat (undivided India) very soon.

Actually RSS has a definite plan to re-frame this ancient land with the old Hindu values attaching the modern world advancements, as experts on RSS say. In the last five years, RSS advanced its activities in the period of repression of last UPA regime.

For a check, one can go through the reports below about the gradual growth of RSS activities in last five years.

As per information available on date a total of 39823 Shakhas are being run at 27089 places. Saptahik Milan is held at 7356 centers and Sangha-mandali is organised at 6949 places. (RSS Akhila Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha, Kurukhestra, March 2010).

As per information available, at present 39908 shakhas are active in 27078 places all over Bharat. Sangh work is also going on through 7990 Saptahik Milans (Weekly get-togethers) and 6431 Sangh Mandalis at different places in Bharat. (RSS Akhila Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha, Puttur, March 2011).

As per available information, RSS has at present 40,891 Sakha, 8508 weekly meet and 6445 Sangha Mandali (Monthly Meet throughout the country.  (RSS Akhila Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha, Nagpur, March 2012).

According to the information collected from all over Bharat, 42981 Shakhas are being run in 28788 places.  Sangh work is also being carried through 9557 Saptahik Milans (weekly get togethers) and 7178 Sanghmandlis (monthly get togethers). (RSS Akhila Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha, Jaipur, March 2013).

According to the available statistics, all over the country, 44982 Sakhas are being conducted at 29624 places. Saptahik Milans (weekly congregation) are being held at 10146 places, whereas work is being carried out in the form of Sangh Mandalis (monthly congregation) at 7387 places. (RSS Akhila Bharateeya Pratinidhi Sabha, Bangalore, March 2014).

As the present Prime Minister of Bharat is an ardent Swaymsevak (cadre)  of RSS, the RSS is now setting its strategy high for making a ‘param vaibhavshali rashtra’ (परं वैभवं नेतुमेतत् स्वराष्ट्रं), i.e most prosperous Nation-State in this Hindu Land (हिन्दुभूमे).

Hindu Rashtra within 2025In India, there are 672 districts, 4100 Taluks, and 256,000 village panchayats for about 638,000 villages. According to one estimate, India has 16lakh habitations spread mostly in these villages. The population of India is about 1.25billion. In terms of percentage, the RSS may be having a base of 5% of the population. It may be argued that the goal of RSS, which is about reaching to about 5% of the population, as set out during its formative years, as a completed task. But it is clear that rephrasing of the goal statement is long overdue.

But, there are currently about 45,000 shakhas in 29,600 places around the country. Weekly congregations are being held at 10,100 places while monthly congregations are being carried out at 7,400 places.

As a matter of fact, the shakhas (units/branches) of RSS has been declined, if it is compared with the period of NDA in 2004. The number of shakhas had increased to more than 51,000 in 2004, when the NDA was voted out of power. The number came down 39,000 in 2010 under the UPA regime. However, from 2011 to 2014, the number of shakhas rebounded.

In this critical juncture to spread over at least 200,000 village panchayats to earn a control over near about 600,000 villages in India with other areas of Metropolises and suburbs, RSS is thinking the Uttarakhand model of ‘Nav Srijan Shivir’ camps in every states to grow more influence in the mind of un-organised Hindus in various folds.

A RSS think-tank in New Delhi conveyed that the Mission of Hindu Rashtra, with its Hindu Constitution and Practical Hindu Empowerment, must be accomplished within 2025 in the centenary of RSS itself. RSS was founded in 1925 by Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar with his wish to materialize his mission in his lifetime (याचि देही याचि डोळा). That was not fulfilled anyway. Now, crores of hard-core Swaysevaks will make a constitutional and practical Hindu Rashtra in Bharat within 2025, otherwise it will be too late to start another chapter for saving the Hindus from compete extinction.

Ramdev episode embodies a desperate leadership: Advani

New Delhi, June 11 (IANS) Criticising the government over its handling of the Baba Ramdev episode, senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L.K. Advani Saturday said only a ‘desperate leadership’ could have cracked down on the fasting yoga guru.

‘Only a cornered government unable to defend its misdeeds before an angry populace and a desperate leadership can behave in this manner,’ Advani said in his blog.

The veteran leader likened Baba Ramdev’s anti-corruption campaign to that by socialist leader Jayaprakash Narayan, who led the ‘total revolution’ against the Emergency rule imposed by Congress government in 1975. He said even Jayaprakash Narayan was initially accused of links with the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS).

Baba Ramdev shifted to ICU and administered glucose drip to save his life. Baba now stable but still not ready to keep off his anti-graft fasting.

Sri Sri Ravishankar meets and urges Ramdev to break fast;

Baba shifted to ICU in Dehradun Hospital after a serious shinking;

Brute Congress reluctant to care for Baba while Diggy continues barb…..

Report Vikram Rautela from Haridwar | Daily Pioneer

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev was hospitalised amid high drama after his health deteriorated rapidly on the seventh day of the fast-unto-death on Friday. Ramdev was carried on a stretcher and moved into a waiting ambulance as supporters chanted, “Sonia Gandhi murdabad”.

“Baba Ramdev agreed to be shifted to hospital. He has been shifted to Jolly Grant Hospital in Dehradun in an ambulance. The chief medical officer is accompanying him. We shifted Baba Ramdev to hospital only after obtaining the consent of his associates. We went by the advice of the doctors attending to him,” Haridwar District Magistrate R Meenakshi Sundaram told The Pioneer.

In a bid to persuade the yoga guru to call off his fast, Sri Sri Ravishankar, founder of the Art of Living, met him at the hospital when Ramdev was being shifted to ICU. Sri Sri told the media that the yoga guru was in a conscious state and urged him to tell his supporters who were also fasting to take lime water with honey. Sri Sri, who recently lost his father, had gone to Haridwar for immersion of the ashes.

“We requested him to end his fast. But Baba referred to others, including children, who are on fast, and told them to take lemon water with honey,” said Sri Sri.

Sri Sri described the police crackdown on Baba Ramdev and his supporters in Delhi “as unfortunate”.

Even as a shell-shocked nation watched on TV channels Baba being shifted to hospital, people from all corners of the country appealed to him to end his fast. Inexplicably, neither the Union Government nor the Congress took any step to reach out to the yoga guru. In its daily Press conference, Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi only ‘wished long life for Baba” but did not urge him to break his fast.

On being asked whether the party will issue an appeal to Ramdev to call off his fast, Dwivedi reiterated the same response. But unmindful of Baba’s critical health, party general secretary Digvijay Singh continued his vicious attack on Ramdev claiming that trusts run by him were involved in money-laundering and demanded that Ramdev should declare the names of those who donated money to his trusts.

On party general secretary Rahul Gandhi keeping mum on the Ramdev issue, Singh said in Bhopal that he was capable of dealing with the Ramdev issue alone.

Doctors earlier told Ramdev to break his fast as he had been rapidly losing weight and his blood pressure had also dropped alarmingly. Haridwar district officials, including District Magistrate R Meenakshi Sundaram, had been trying to persuade Ramdev’s associates at Patanjali Yogapeeth on admitting him to hospital.

Doctors cautioned that Ramdev’s health would deteriorate further if his blood pressure and pulse rate continued to slide. Ramdev’s medical test reports on Friday said that his blood pressure had fallen to 104/70 and his pulse rate was recorded at 58. Ramdev’s weight on Friday was 58 kg.

The team of doctors, who checked the fasting yoga guru earlier on Friday, had warned that if Ramdev did not break his fast immediately he would suffer irreversible damage to his brain and kidneys.

Haridwar chief medical officer Yogesh Chandra Sharma had sent a report to the district administration urging immediate steps to end his fast. Ramdev had rejected all appeals by the district administration to end his fast and had even refused to take glucose.

“As Baba Ramdev’s health is deteriorating, he should stop his hunger strike immediately. We want to admit him to the ICCU so that we can do a cardiac checkup and other tests on him. Ketone bodies and albumin were found in his urine sample and his kidneys were not functioning properly. Baba Ramdev needs cardiac monitoring immediately,” Dr Sharma told media persons on Friday morning.

Supporters of Ramdev began a yajna at Yagyashala, where Baba has been observing his fast for the past seven days, immediately after he was taken to Jolly Grant Hospital. The yajna, participants said, was being performed for the Baba’s swift recovery.

Baba supporters hold up traffic: Supporters of Baba Ramdev blocked the Haridwar-Delhi highway on Friday afternoon soon after he was taken to Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences in Jolly Grant.

Hundreds of supporters, including medical students of Patanjali Ayurveda College and members of the Bharat Swabhiman Trust, sat on the road outside Patanjali Yogpeeth, holding up traffic in the area for several hours.

The protesters, who included women and children, were demanding Baba to be brought back from the hospital safe. Slogans of “Sonia Gandhi murdabad” and “Vande Mataram” rent the air.

Traffic in the area went haywire after protesters parked two tractors in the middle of the highway. Mid-afternoon commuters had a tough time as agitators blocked the road. With protesters gathering outside Patanjali Yogpeeth entrance gate in strength, a large number of vehicles ground to a halt on either side of the junction for well over two hours, causing much hardship to motorists.

Earlier there was commotion on Patanjali Yogpeeth premises as some of Ramdev’s supporters protested the district administration’s move to shift him to hospital. Some protesters even clashed with police when the yoga guru, who is on a fast against corruption and black money, was being taken out on a stretcher. The clash was, however, stopped immediately with help of ashram authorities.

Fasting continues, Baba’s health worsening…..

Ramdev declares assets, defends youth army remarks.

IANS | New Delhi/Haridwar |June 09, 2011   9:29:02 PM

With his multi-million business empire coming under the scanner, yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday declared his assets and vehemently defended his statement about creating a youth army to tackle any future police crackdown, even as he continued his fast against corruption for the sixth day . ………………………………………….
At a press conference in Haridwar, Ramdev, who has packaged himself as an anti-corruption crusader, said that in tune with his “commitment to complete transparency,” he was declaring on his website the financial details of his empire, whose turnover runs into millions of dollars. In a flourish, he said he had stolen people’s hearts, not money.

Ramdev’s close aide Acharya Balkrishna was quick to stand up for his guru, saying that the measure was meant to end a snowballing controversy on the matter. He declared that the total capital of different institutions associated with Ramdev is nearly Rs 426 crore, adding that Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust has spent Rs. 249 crore in charity and helping people during calamities.

“Some people have tried to spread rumours about the trust, so we thought we will end this matter once and for all,” Blakrishna told reporters. He added that the assets of the trust were under government scrutiny already as they were declared to the Income Tax department every year.

“We give our account details to the Income Tax Department every year. Our trust’s licence is renewed every two years… if there is any discrepancy in the accounts, the licence will not be renewed ,” he said stressing that the system of running the trust and accounts is totally transparent.

The decision to declare the assets came after the government turned on the heat on Ramdev by threatening to probe his widespread business interests and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh declared his personal assets and asked his ministers to do the same. The details of assets of the prime minister as well as some ministers have already been put on the PMO website.

In yet another well-thought out strategy to offset the criticism about his remarks about creating an army of young people, Ramdev said: “I am not training Naxals or Maoists but people who will fight for this country. Twenty youths from each region (of the country) will come forward for the fight against corruption,” he said.

In a statement released in New Delhi, Ramdev clarified that a force of 11,000 people he intended to build would not be an armed force but a group of “non-violent nationalist youths” capable of defending themselves and people from corruption and the evil system.

The yoga guru blamed the media for creating confusion.

Ramdev’s announcement Wednesday that “dedicated young men and women will be imparted ‘shaastra’ (vedic education) and ‘shastra’ (arms training)” provoked Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram to say that Ramdev had “exposed his true colours and intentions”. “Let him do so, and the law will deal with that,” he said.

His health, however, remained a matter of concern. “He is not going to break his fast. I have asked him to take lemon juice and honey and he has complied. He will take it in the evening,” R. Meenakshi Sundaram, District Magistrate of Haridwar, told IANS over phone. “His condition has worsened. So, we requested him,” he added.

However, the official said if there was a threat to his life, the authorities won’t shy away from forcibly giving him glucose.

Congress wants all the Hindu and Real Nationalist leaders must die. India must be divided between Muslims and Christians only… Hindus of Bharat should not have any say against Corrupt Congress, their Muslim mentors and Christian consultants… Baba Ramdev is offering his Blood drop by drop for the Nation… Can we mum and idle for that… Oh, Bharathis stand up again… Roar like a Lion… Jai Sri Ram.
