Hindu Existence News Bureau with input from PTI & Agencies | Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh) | 7 Sept 2013 (updated upto 9th Sept):: Twenty six people, a journalist and a photographer among them, were killed and 134 others injured on Saturday and subsequent days during fresh clashes between members of two communities in Muzaffarnagar, where an incident of violence 10 days ago has kept communal tensions simmering.
Rajesh Verma, an IBN7 journalist, was critically wounded when some unidentified men in a mob fired indiscriminately in Khalapar area. He succumbed during treatment.
The photographer, Israr, hired by the police, was beaten to death in Sekeda village by a group of people returning from a meeting held in Naglabadhod. The meeting was held in defiance of prohibitory orders, for seeking withdrawal of the cases registered against those accused of August 27 Kawal violence.
It is told that two Hindus are died in the violence while four Muslims are died, while the chance of more casualties cannot be ignored in the face of spreading violence.
Saturday’s violence started when a group of people going to attend a meeting of Maha Panchayat at Naglabadhod clashed with the members of another community in Shahpur village en route. About six people were injured in the clash. A few of them reached the meeting venue and told the people about the attack.
When the meeting ended and the people dispersed, a clash broke out at Meenakshi crossing of the city. This time, the two groups used firearms. Soon, the violence spread to rural areas such as Basiakla, Almaspur, Mujhera of the district as well.
Violence broke out again in the Kawal area when members of a community returning from a Maha Panchayat meeting in Naglabadhod clashed with members of another community.
The incident comes shortly after Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde said that incidents of communal violence have increased in the country and cautioned all States to remain alert and foil any attempt to disturb peace ahead of the general elections. “Communal violence incidents have increased since last year. While 410 incidents occurred in the country last year, this year, till now, 451 incidents have taken place,” he told reporters in New Delhi.
The tension initially brewed up when three persons were killed on August 27 over a dispute which has now culminated into a communal rift between two communities.
The village had witnessed a horrific series of events after two girls, returning back home with their kin Gaurav from college, were allegedly molested by a local resident Shahnawaz. Gaurav first tried to oppose Shahnawaz’s act but finally decided to go home silently.
After sometime, Gaurav returned with his friend on bike and allegedly attacked Shahnawaz with sharp weapon. Meanwhile, hearing Shahnawaz’s cries, his neighbours rushed to his rescue. They nabbed the two youths and beat them mercilessly to death. When Shahnawaz was taken to hospital, he was also declared dead by the doctors.
After the three deaths, tension prevailed in the area and incidences of violence have denied to end.
During the fresh violence, a photographer named Israr was beaten to death in Sekeda village by a group of people returning from a meeting, police sources said.
Shinde said all States have been alerted in view of recent incidents and he has personally called up Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday and discussed the subject.
In a related incident, five persons were injured when members of two communities pelted stones at each other in Basiakla village. In Ilmanspur village, a mob set afire a vehicle.
Security had been tightened in view of Naglabadhod meeting and prohibitory orders imposed in the area, police said.
Several people had participated in the first meeting held in the aftermath of Kawal violence despite a ban imposed by the district authorities.
The police also booked several politicians for making inflammatory speeches in the area. These included three Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders – an MP and two MLAs from Muzaffarnagar – and one Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Meerut.
Actually, the Maha Panchayat of Jaats, Gujjar and Rajputs have came closer through such Maha panchayat cutting the political edge only to fight against the attack upon their agriculture, women, temples, farms and business by fanatic people bearing Arabic names. Consequently, united Hindu forces resolved to fight unitedly against anti Hindu elements with a process of ‘best defense’.
The police also registered cases against 299 others for promoting enmity on religious grounds after they posted a forged video of the killings of the youth on social networking site Facebook.

So far, 34 victims have been identified. Toll in Muzaffarnagar violence inches towards 50, curfew eased for two hours: Indian Express.
Meanwhile, crime branch on Saturday arrested ex-Jansath block head, Virender Singh, for an alleged provocative speech during the last meeting on August 31.
Singh is cousin of Shashank Shekhar Singh, who was former Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Secretary in the previous Mayawati Government in the State.
According to DSP JR Joshi, the ex-block head was arrested for allegedly participating in an “unauthorised meeting” while prohibitory orders were in force in the area.
But, there is a huge repercussion as the non Hindus are usually allowed to hold their meeting without any permission and even perform Namaz putting public inconveniences like road block etc., while the Hindus are discriminated rampantly.
DGP Deo Raj Nagar said the Government has formed a Special Task Force to investigate the Kawal incident.
“Some elements are trying to create communal tension in the region. The STF will be helpful to normalise the situation. No one would be allowed to breach peace in the area,” he said.
As per latest report, there is a chance to outbreak the situation in a wider range if not controlled properly.

I am very happy to know finally that such a group like Hindu existence forum has emerged. Through out my life I have always seen that hi dus live like 2nd class citizen in our own country, every other day on newspaper we see some muslim has molested or raped our hindu sisters and yet the govt doesnt takes any action just because they are muslims, they can block roads for muharram or namaz prayer creating probs as if they are above the hindus. My full support to the hindu existence group. You are doing a great thing…
But killing muslims are not long term or permanent solutions I think, it may temporarily bring them to limit making streets safer for our sisters but for long time hindus should find a solution to convert them back to hinduism as there forefathers were converted.

I fully agree with you subhankar chowdhry. After all, the forefathers of all the muslims and christians of south asia, were hindus, and reconverting them to hinduism is not going to be an easy task. To achieve that first India should dump its secular ideology and proclaim itself to be a hindu rashtra. We hindus are never going to achieve this unless and otherwise we forget all caste differences and unite together. In countries like malaysia muslims with just around 55% of the population are able to dominate the nation, whereas hindus in India who form an 80% majority have always been second class citizens. The reason is simple. The muslims and the christians have understood the power of vote bank politics in Indian democracy and they play their cards very well. All we need now is a an autocratic leader who is capable of uniting all the hindus and who can be PM for the next twenty five years, who has only one thing in mind that is India’s hindu identity and the development of this great nation. Do we really need democracy? Democracy in India has done much damage to hinduism.

Initially many hindus were killed when the riot started, UP ka SP govt is hiding the facts, there are many reports that they fired from Masjid with AK-47 on returning farmers of the mahapanchayat. many hindus were killed, that is why they blacked out the city and didn’t allow the newspaper to be distributed as well..they are hiding the facts, hindus retaliated later but in outskirt villages, no one really knows the death toll in muzaffarnagar itself. if the death toll was at 21 when the army was called in, how come every day its increasing, it went to 32 yesterday and now at 38. they have plan to declare more death slowly day by day so that people wont riot. there are certainly much more deaths,there are websites which claim more than 300 Hindus killed, may not be very true but i suspect there are definitely more deaths. SP is hiding and siding with muslims, they are suppressing the truth in muzaffarnagar city and in shamli where muslims are in majority. The ibn newspaper guy was shot by muslims because he captured phots and videos of muslim firing from masjid. the police SP was muslim there and he allowed muslims to kill hindus.. man hindus should get united and hit hard and eliminate muslims, never vote for SP, BSP and Congress, they must realize. the paid media is just showing muslims being the victims..there is no report at all on shamli and muzaffarnagar city or near the masjid from where muslims fired on hindu farmers with AK-47. Mr. Jamal, your hate-filled rant does not deserve a response. Even so, just thought I would correct some facts. Mughal rule in parts of India was only 190 years (Babur 1526AD to death of Aurangzeb in 1707AD and his defeat to the Marathas in the 27 year Deccan war). Actual rule over much of India was much shorter – Akbar to Aurangzeb (about 150 years). For that matter, Maratha rule over most of India was also roughly the same amount of time (roughly entire 18th century). So by your logic, if the Marathas had killed all muslims, then too we would not have any problem, right? And by the way, the muslim rulers DID try to convert as many as they could with sword, but could not succeed because we Hindus never gave up fighting.

These need to collapse, and the only way is through votes. On voting day please please please take your friends, family and aquaintances to the voting box and get Modi elected. I absolutely hate it. Why are we Hindus such imbeciles. We were systemically eradicated from afghanistan pakistan bangladesh and today we ate facing it in india. When will we hit back. When will become hindu nation. Liberal attitude will doom us. See what is happening in europe. Muslims have become so emboldened in france and uk that there openly demanding sharia. It is high time that “WE ALL VOTE AS HINDUS” & stop voting for so-called power greedy SECULAR politicians or parties.

Even in this modern years people congress govt promoting Religion,caste is really shamefull,it creating anger within the country,we must blame Directly Sonia gandhi and family for this situation if we just blame others its like talking to air,then might be Sonia gandhi and family feel responsibility.presently scams,Hate speeches,Criticising Hindus everything is supervised by them but still their name is not coming to public,they must get direct hit for this or else situation go for task in future,never ever expected this kind of low level attitude of congress,painful.
