Sushil Kumar Shinde, Home Minister of India: The Real Messiah of Muslim Terrorists?

Posted by hinduexistence on October 2, 2013

Shinde: A Real Friend of Muslim Criminals & Terrorists of India. Hatching conspiracy against Hindu youths.

Don't arrest Muslim Youth. Free them or Jihad.Upananda Brahmachari | New Delhi | 1 Oct 2013:: The recent report of National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) showed that 21% of under-trials in India’s jails were Muslims, with their proportion in jails of Maharashtra (36%) and West Bengal (46%) was higher than their representation in the general population.

And out of this  21 per cent of  under-trial members of the Muslim community finally comprise as only 17.75 per cent of the convicts. This has been  revealed in the analysis of prison data released by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), recently.

This suggests two things. Muslims are the largest community involved in criminal activities in India (as also perceived by the world community). And a large number of arrested Muslims are released by the courts under an un-understandable situation created by Islamic lobby so much influential into an appeasing political atmosphere in India.

The Islamic attitude of criminality or terrorism is nothing new to anybody. The maximum names in the list of FBI Most Wanted Terrorists,  Interpol Red Corner Terrorists or the Most Wanted Terrorists by National Investigative Agency of India, are obviously Muslims. Criminality in Muslims or  Islamic Terrorism have been exposed a biggest threat to the global peace, now a days.

The NYPD (New York Police Department) designated all Mosques in NY  as terrorism organizations, recently.  China has put restrictions upon Islam. The entire non-Muslim world has kept a keen vigil upon expanding Islamic intolerance with a tool of Jihad. In many places renovation of Mosques, Azan from Mosque minerate, use of Burka, Halal methods, Islamic polygamy and uncontrolled child birth etc are being banned or challenged widely and wildly.  A skull capped/long bearded-half mustached men or anybody  with Arabic name are the objects of third degree checking any International airport in America or Europe.  Even Hindu and Sikh persons are some time are being heavily searched there under an ‘Islamist alike’ suspicion.  All such reactions against Islam has been globally set as a general phenomenon. Islam is now termed as an averse effect of  Jihad and the anti-peace process.

But, the shame of Maratha, Sushil Kr Shinde and the most dangerous Home Minister, India has ever seen, is the same person. He is a real friend of Muslim criminals and terrorists of India. So, there is no other option with Shinde, but only to glorify Islam and support the trend of criminal and terrorist activities of Muslim offenders in a very sane way.

Indian Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, on Monday (30 Sept 2013) asked all chief ministers to ensure that no innocent Muslim is arrested in the name of fighting terror.  In his letter to chief ministers, the home minister said strict and prompt action should be taken against erring police officers when malafide arrests are made of any member of a minority community.

“Some of the minority youth have started feeling that they are deliberately targeted and deprived their basis rights,” he wrote in his letter that was made public.

“Government has to ensure that no innocent person is subjected to undue harassment,” he said.

The home minister said a Muslim person wrongfully arrested should be released immediately and suitably compensated and rehabilitated to join the mainstream. But, what about any Hindu under same situation? Shinde is trying hard to be a most faithful to the Muslims by hitting the Hindus in a very different way. Some months back (Jan 2013) this Shinde accused RSS and BJP for promoting terrorism in India.

Actually, Shinde’s statement for ‘not to detain’ nor ‘to harass Muslim youths’ through an arrest in connection with alleged terror activities are mostly  unconstitutional and communally divisive. Perhaps, this man has forgotten the concept of equal status before law or either he understand himself as a Home Minister of Muslim community.

BJP termed Shinde’s letter to states unconstitutional and communally divisive, asks him to withdraw it.

BJP termed Shinde’s letter to states unconstitutional and communally divisive, asks him to withdraw it.

Has our Home Minister forgotten the oath that he took where he promised to protect citizens without  bias of any particular religion? Then why did he have to say Muslim youths? He could mentioned any malady faced by any person irrespective of religion or faith, in a challenging situation under police or judicial procedure in any charge of terrorism.   The statement of Shinde violates the sanctity of Holy Constitution of India in a gross volume.

Shinde’s  statement is illegal. He is creating rift among the communities. He is unfit to be the Union Home Minister for his communal outlook. He must be tried for treason. While Shinde and their brigade call themselves “Secular”,  then in fact, Congress is the most communal party in India.

If the friends of Tunda, Bhatkal or the supporters of  Jihad, Hafiz Sayed and Dawood Ibrahim start feeling that they are deliberately targeted and deprived their basis rights, what can other do but arrest and assault them for the sake of terrorizing the terrorists. Shinde has no right to put any restriction upon the law enforcement agencies only to appease a Muslim Vote Bank without thinking the big threat of Islamic Jihad in India.

What a dangerous and humiliating approach of this Shinde, the  Messiah of Muslim Criminals and terrorists that he has a less faith upon his own law enforcement agencies and the judiciary too.

I think under this humiliation, the top brass in every law enforcement agencies must take stringent action against the habitual offenders believe in  Quran and must not spare anybody further.

Shinde may be a friend of Muslim terrorist or a big antagonist of so-called ‘Saffron Terrorism’, but the majority people are disgusted with the terrorist activities by the people bearing Arabic names. We don’t know the fate of Shinde’s letter written to all Chief Ministers of Indian States, but the majority people has the right to uproot all terrorists from the soil of Bharat along with their friends, at any cost. Shinde must not forget it.

Prayers resume. Kedarnath Temple reopens after 86 days.

Posted by hinduexistence on September 11, 2013

After 86 days, prayers resume at Kedarnath Temple.

M_Id_418723_KedarnathKEDARNATH |PTI | Sep 11, 2013::  The deathly silence brooding over Kedarnath since the June calamity hit Uttarakhand broke early on Wednesday morning by the chanting of Vedic hymns as prayers resumed at the Himalayan shrine, 86 days after ravaging floods left over 400 people dead in the Kedar valley.

Shortly after the dawn, as the clock stuck seven, the chief priest of the 6th century shrine, Rawal Bhima Shankar Ling Shivacharya, unlocked the portals of the temple and stepped into the sanctum-sanctorum to perform the puja.
.
The prayers commenced on Wednesday on Sarwartha Siddi Yog, considered to be auspicious.Uttarakhand chief minister Vijay Bahuguna, who was also scheduled to attend the prayers along with some of his ministerial colleagues, could not take off from Dehradun due to inclement weather.
.
The Kedar Valley is enveloped in a thick veil of fog and various media teams, which had to come here to cover the ceremony, are stuck in Guptkashi, some 22 kilometres from here, due to bad weather. The Puja began with a ‘shuddhikaran’ (purification) of the temple and ‘prayashchitikaran’ (atonement for prolonged suspension of prayers at the shrine). The chief priest was accompanied by a large number of ‘teerth’ purohits and Badrinath Kedarnath Samiti officials.

.

.

The shrine reverberated with the collective recitals of Vedic hymns and blowing of conch shells.

However, the resumption of prayers at the 13,500 ft-high shrine is of limited nature, as no pilgrim is being allowed right now to visit the temple.

A meeting is scheduled to be held on September 30 to decide the date for resumption of Yatra to the famed Himalayan temple.

The temple, cleaned and spruced up for the occasion, came back to life after the deathly silence of all these months.

Prayers at the shrine were suspended after the flash floods wreaked havoc in Uttarakhand, especially in the hill districts of Rudraprayag, Urttarakashi, Chamoli and Pittoragrh, leading to the death of over 600 people as per official figures, and leaving more than 4,000 missing.

Where are the BJP_RSS_VJP_BAJRANGDAL supporters right now ??? Come here
MP Police capture Shankaracharya Narendrananda Saraswati, taken away from Bhojshala :

As per the latest updates from Mr. Vinay Panavalkar of HJS Co-Ordinator, Madhya Pradesh Police as instigated by the Ruling BJP Govt, stopped vehicle of Shankaracharya Narendrananda Saraswati and his companions going towards Mata Saraswati Mandir, Bhojshala. Police forced Shankaracharya and others to come down from vehicle and seized their mobile phones, some 20 kms far from Bhojshala complex. Immediately Shankaracharya sat on Road for Dharna. But Police forced him to get into  that vehicle and that was taken over by Police and they have taken away Shankaracharya and others from Dhar. Revered Shankaracharya and his disciples are taken to unknown places. In the meanwhile thousand of Hindutva supporters came down to roads in Dhar and in some places in Madhya Pradesh.

Why BJP is following footsteps of Congress by trying to suppress voice and constitutional rights of Hindus ? Does it not look like ‘Moghalai’ (Mughal-like regime) of BJP ? If today BJP is preventing Hindu Saints and devotees from entering Hindu temples, tomorrow it may destroy Hindu temples like Mughal invaders ! RSS-VHP_Bajrangis are vacate onlookers!

Inspector General of Police, Indore, Smt Anuradha Shankar said police arranged safe Namaj for 116 Muslim Namajis and stopped Hindu Puja for the time being when Namaj was conducting. In such a way Hindus will be compelled to stop their Dharmik performance time and again to satiate the Muslims in Bharat only to promote Arabic Expansion in our Social, Cultural  & National Life. Awake Hindus Awake!

Bhojshala : Police arrest and brutally beat up Shri. Navalkishore Sharma of Bhojshala Mukti Yagna Samiti

February 11, 2013 | Hindu Existence Forum | Bhopal | Madhya Pradesh:: It is a bare Face Off of BJP and VHP in the case of recovery of Bhojshala Bagdevi Mandir on ensuing Basanta Panchami. The brutality on devout Hindu Activist by the Police under the control of Madhaya Pradesh Govt, has been exposed now.

Intimidation by BJP Govt. and Police in MP

Indian ArmyMadhya Pradesh police arrested Mr. Navalkishore Sharma, the National Convener of ‘Bhojshala Mukti-yadnya Samiti’ and his activists who have been fighting for Hindus’ right of performing ‘puja’ in ‘Bhojshala’ on the day of ‘Vasant-Panchami’, falling on Friday, 15th February this year. They have also been demanding that Muslims should not be allowed to read ‘namaz’ on that day in ‘Bhojshala’. His elder brother has already been arrested. Police not only arrested Navalkishore Sharma but they even beat him up brutally. (Editor of Dainik Sanatan Pravat commented “In Hindu Rashtra, stringent action will be taken against such cruel Police who are oppressing innocent Hindus!” ). Police have claimed that Mr. Navalkishore Sharma had a gun and a bullet. (Hindu activists have been holding agitations for the past so many days, in lawful manner. Will they carry guns ? Can it not be a ploy hatched by police on the instructions of BJP Govt. to arrest pro-Hindu activists under false charges? Hindus must realize that it is the conspiracy of BJP Govt. to crush their agitation ! – Editor SP).

Navalkishore Sharma injured in police beating has been admitted to hospital !

Navalkishore Sharma has been injured in police beating and has been admitted to a hospital. Hundreds of activists had gathered outside the hospital to meet Mr. Sharma; but police kept tight security and stopped them from meeting.

Instructions for District Coordinators of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti.

Hindus’ should get a right to perform ‘puja’ in ‘Bhojshala’ on the day of Vasant-Panchami; for this, protest against BJP Govt. in every district !

For the last few days, Hindus have been trying to gain right, in lawful manner, for performing ‘puja’ on ‘Vasant-Panchami’ in ‘Bhojshala’ instead of Muslims reading ‘namaz’; but BJP Government in Madhya Pradesh has paid no heed. As a result, Saints and pro-Hindu activists have now taken an aggressive stand of staging agitations. BJP Government has imposed curfew in Dhar District to crush this agitation. This stance of BJP Government should be condemned in every district of this country. Non-Hindus immediately unite when their religious sentiments are hurt and raise their voice. Now, even Hindus need to come together and register their protest immediately against injustice meted out to them.

Activists of Hindu Janjagruti Samiti (HJS) should, therefore, stage agitation in every district, along with pro-Hindu organizations that hold similar views like HJS, to register protest. As far as possible, such protests/agitations should be staged in front of BJP’s offices and the office-bearers of BJP should be taken to task on this issue. The banner, in Hindi, required for this agitation and handbill are made available on the usual web-address and on HJS Website here.

Ayodhya: Twenty years on, a refusal to see the truth of Ramjanmabhumi.

Posted by hinduexistence on December 2, 2012

JSR 6th Dec 1992

Ramjanmabhumi: Twenty years on, a refusal to see the truth

- Dr. Subramanian Swamy

Swamy on Janmabhoomi1 DEC 2012  | New Delhi  | Daily Pioneer ::  The pseudo-secular narrative has triumphed on the Ram Janmabhoomi struggle which climaxed twenty years ago on December 6. The tragedy is that all the blood and gore could have been avoided through a negotiated settlement

On December 6, 1992, a superstructure called the Babri Masjid standing in the city of Ayodhya, came crashing down. It remains even today a traumatic event for the nation, because modern Indians have not yet been weaned on a true history of India, and hence a large section of our educated classes still view the destruction of the structure as criminal vandalism. What happened exactly? There was a superstructure built on the site of an ancient temple after demolishing it. That was the real vandalism.

Two years earlier, by a coincidence, on the same month and day, I had met representatives of the VHP and BJP at a house, next door to mine, on Mathura Road. The newly sworn in Prime Minister, the late Chandrashekhar, had asked me (I was then his newly sworn in senior most Cabinet Minister) that as the new Union Law& Justice Minister, I should talk to them about withdrawing their proposed nation-wide stir slated to begin on December 9, 1991 for building a Ram temple at the site the super-structure had then stood in its gloomy glory. He told me to assure the VHP that our government would get removed the Babri Masjid with the consent of Muslim leaders through discussions.

The VHP and BJP leaders I met readily agreed to call off the stir since we were a new government. Their decision to go on a stir was taken when VP Singh was in power – his government fell in November. Thereafter, in January 1991, talks initiated by Chandrashekhar himself began with the Muslim leaders. Unfortunately, despite the zig-zag progress in the talks, our government did not last long enough to fructify it. Had history taken a different turn and our government lasted for a year more, I am confident we would have amicably liberated the Ranjanmabhoomi for building a befitting Ram temple, that too with the consent of the Muslim community, even though the Government was in the minority in the Parliament.

From my personal experience as a Minister in a minority government, I can therefore say that lack of majority is no excuse for implementing any agenda, if the leadership had the mindset to get things done. As a Minister of Law &Justice, for instance, I got the controversial Sessions Judge of Faizabad, KM Pandey, a High Court judgeship, despite the fact that the previous V.P. Singh’s “three-legged” government had issued orders on file that since Pandey had directed the locks on the so-called Babri Masjid be removed in 1986, he should never be made a High Court judge.

Mulayam Singh was our Chief Minister of UP, but with firmness I got his protests sufficiently moderated to his permit me to go ahead. He cooperated because he knew I would do it anyway– make Pandey a judge of the High Court-and hence he acquiesced since he wanted other things done for him by me,. The same clarity enabled the Chandrashekhar government to get Saifuddin Soz’s kidnapped daughter freed without releasing any dreaded terrorists. There are methods for doing that-mostly based on retaliation. In each case it is the mindset of those elected to high office that matters, not the size of the parliamentary majority or lack of it.

It was this mindset that enabled the Chandrashekhar government to nearly solve by an agreement the question of building of a Ram temple in Ayodhya. However, the government however fell before it could be clinched. But could the Babri Masjid have been demolished in a more legally authorised way? Hindus should not be defensive in the face of an onslaught by the fashionable secularists about removing mosques built on where temples had once stood, because the Supreme Court has held in the Faruqui vs. Union of India case [(1994)6 SCC360], that a masjid is not an essential part of Islamic theology, and these can and have been be demolished for public good.

Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and even in British-ruled undivided India, Masjids have been demolished to facilitate roads. The government of Saudi Arabia did not think twice before demolishing the Bilal Masjid in Mecca where Prophet Muhammed used to read namaz. A masjid, like a church, is not a religious place in the sense a temple is. Masjids and Churches are places for worship, i.e., buildings which serve as facilitation centres for namaz and prayer. Namaz can be read anywhere even on a railway platform. In the United States, the VHP buys disused Churches and converts them into temples, and yet no Christian there objects.

But temples, once it is shown that a prana prathista puja has been performed to build it, is where God or deity resides, and belongs to God forever. As Union Law&Justice Minister in 1991 I got our government legal team to prove this to the satisfaction of the House of Lords in Britain, to bring back a Nataraja statue taken from a disused Thanjavur temple. It was at Rajiv Gandhi’s request I took interest in the case!

Of course, because of this fact about masjids and churches, no one in a democracy has the right to take the law into his own hands to demolish them. But on the other hand, a government can remove in a legal and orderly way the masjids in Ayodhya, Kashi, and Brindavan (this mention is supposed to be Mathura as the birth place temple of Lord Krishna – Ed. HE), in fact in 300 other places, to rebuild the original temples under law. We can get Muslims to cooperate in this. I am confident of this. Babri Masjid was built as an affront to Hindus. Otherwise it could have been built anywhere else since namaz can be offered anywhere. Hindus have however prevailed because despite 800 years of Islamic and 200 years of Christian domination, Bharat today is still over 80 per cent Hindu and a continuum of an ancient civilisation. Hence, now we must resolve to rectify what is essential to rectify and reclaim. For that, the restoration of three holy sites, in Ayodhya, Vrindavan, and Kashi, is necessary. Patriotic politicians must resolve: Come our way or go the highway.

But it is easier said than done to expect that politicians would do or die for it. As our rudderless democracy has drifted, we are today in a “match-fixing mode” even in electoral contests. In Tamil Nadu, the DMK and AIADMK are bitter enemies, but in most crucial constituencies, a match-fixing arrangement for money have been worked out for decades between Sasikala of the AIADMK and Arcot Veerasamy of the DMK, who are alter egos of their respective top leaders, and determined to keep out the Hindutva forces from Tamil Nadu.

The same match-fixing disease has spread to other parties nation-wide. We have to cure it before it completely debilitates and destroys our democracy as it has done in Banana Republics of Latin American countries such as Colombia and Peru.

The reluctance today to confront and expose the anti-Hindu personages in Parliament, academia and media because of this disease of “match-fixing”. It is said that such attacks would be “personal” and “counter productive”. There is however nothing “personal” in such directed and organised attacks. Just as the world focused on Hitler or Mussolini, without thinking of it being personal, therefore we should identify and expose especially the person who today has emerged as the fountain head of the anti-Hindutva campaign.

But we cannot prevail in this struggle, if we have in our midst those suffering from the “Arjuna virus” as-the late Swami Chinmayananda once pointed out, referring to Arjuna’s initial reluctance to fight at Kurukshetra. The Babri Masjid legacy is that virus we still have to cure twenty years later.

Pakistan court stays demolition of 200 year old Hindu temple in Karachi.

Posted by hinduexistence on September 17, 2012

Don’t demolish 200-year-old Hindu temple: Pakistani court.

Islamabad | IANS | September 16, 2012 :: A court in Pakistan has restrained authorities in the port city of Karachi from demolishing a Hindu temple believed to have been constructed 200 years ago, a media report said.

According to the Dawn newspaper, the Sindh High Court restrained the Karachi Port Trust (KPT) and other respondents from demolishing the Shri Laxmi Narayan Mandir at the Native Jetty Bridge.

A bench led by Chief Justice Mushir Alam asked a court official to inspect the temple and submit a report.

A constitutional petition was recently filed by Kailash Wishram, who lives in the residential quarters in the temple premises, saying that a private company in collaboration with the KPT had started some construction work, blocking access to seawater from the temple.

The petition said the construction threatened the place of worship and also the right of the minority community at large.

The secretary of ports and shipping ministry, the KPT chairman and the private firm that ran a food court under the bridge were named respondents.

The petitioner said the temple was constructed much before the partition of the subcontinent, and for a long time Hindus have been performing religious rituals there.

It said access to seawater was one of the essential things to perform worship.

The Pakistan Hindu Council says the temple was constructed 200 years ago and many Hindu festivals are celebrated there.

It is also a sacred place for performing funerals and other religious rituals by the sea.

The court ordered that the temple, its staircase, boundary wall and corridors originally constructed may not be demolished.

Muslims of Uttar Pradesh trying hard to foil over Hindus for establishing an Islamic supremacy.

Posted by hinduexistence on July 11, 2012

Gaziabad under Islamic Flame

Wretched condition of Uttar Pradesh Hindus under Samjwadi Govt led by Akhilesh Singh, Mulla Mulayam Singh and Azam Khan.

Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh : One Hindu killed, 25 injured in communal clash between Hindu & Muslims.

One Hindu killed in Gaziabad. Hindus protested with dead body in Local Police Station.

Ghaziabad: Monday, July 09, 2012 :: At least one person was killed and 25 others injured in a clash which broke out between two communities after a minor road rage incident in Farukh Nagar town near here.

All the injured were admitted to Narendra Mohan hospital and further probe was on, said Superintendent of Police Ghaziabad City, Shiv Shankar Yadav.

Last evening, a biker Viresh Tyagi was returning home when he hit a child in the Farukh Nagar area of Sahibabad. After the incident Viresh also allegedly thrashed some people who entered into argument with him, said inspector and station officer of Sahibabad police station, Ramnath Singh Yadav.

In an alleged act of revenge, today morning, Vipin Tyagi, younger brother of Viresh, was shot dead allegedly by a group of men belonging to another community while he was passing through the area, the SP said.

Following the incident, a group of people gathered in the area and started pelting stones and also opened fired.

In the ensuing clash about 25 persons were injured.

A case was registered in Sahibabad police station and additional police force was deployed to control the situation, Yadav said.

Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Kumar and District Magistrate Aparna Uapdhaya visited the spot. Report: PTI.

Not only that. After the Kosi Kalan Tragedy (in Mathura District, U.P.), the Muslim perpetrators are finding scope everywhere to harm the Hindus by hook or crook.

It is now reported that one ancient Temple at Paper Mill Colony  at Nishatgunj near Lucknow were destroyed by the anti Hindu force for which hundreds of  Akhil Bhratiya Hindu Mahasabha members protested in Nishatgunj and also demonstrated in front upper house of Uttar Pradesh Assembly (Vidhan Parisad) for a demand to reconstruct the temple very quickly. The temple was demolished by one Arif  Builders with a political support as reports came in.

Briefing to the press, Sri Piyush Kanta Barma expressed the agony of Hindus of Uttar Pradesh under the pro Muslim Akhilesh Singh Govt for the last few months. Sri Barma said that 100 shops were burnt in Kosi Kalan and 2 Hindus were murdered by the Muslim conspirators to fuel the  extinguishing riot situation there.

In Pratapgarh, a Hindu girl was rapped by some Muslim anti socials some days ago.

With a clear help from Samajwadi Circle, the Muslims of Uttar Pradesh are twisting their arms to take some revenge against the Babri demolition most probably. Hindu’s lands are being snatched in many districts for Muslim real estate business as per reports.

The Akhilesh Govt. is pampering the Haj Pilgrimage to appease the Muslim voters for which Muslims take undue advantages with fake and fraud motives for Haj Subsidy.

Only to appease the Muslim communal forces under the dictum of the Azam Khan (Minister for Urban Development, Govt. of UP), the Akhilesh Govt stealthily processing a dead lock for Ram Mandir construction at Ayodhya and imposed  a restriction upon the Shiva Kawar Yatra of Shravan (religious procession) so that the processioners do not carry any traditional lathi (stick) or trishul (small trident) which are the essential symbols Shiva Kawar Yatra.

Reports are also coming in for the renewed arrangements of cow slaughter in the coming event of Bakar-Eid as a morale boosting for the Jihadi Muslims in UP.

Predominantly, Muslims are trying to capture Uttar Pradesh (IS BJP’s recent success in the recent Municipal election telling some new hopes?) with a political privilege. Hindus are thrashed many ways which must fetch a strong Hindu retaliation as the veterans opine.

Hindu Missionary work at Khargapur under attack of Ministry of Railways, GOI. Railways ordered demolition of Hindu Hostel run by Bharat Sevashram Sangha. Swami at hunger-sit-on.

Posted by hinduexistence on May 9, 2012

Christian lobby and Muslim pressure group to stop Hindu Missionary work at Khargapur, West Bengal. Railways Department only to demolish Hindu structures.

Subarno Pandey for Hindu Existence | KGP | 6th May, 2012 :: Indian Railways has issued order to demolish Hindu Students’ Hostel run by Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Inda area of Kharagpur where an extension unit of Tribal hostel is under construction. As the Railway authority showed its pro-activism in destroying a part of the said hostel, a public sentiment has aroused in the area as the Railway authority did nothing to the Muslim and Christian occupation in the same railways lands. As a protest the Monk-in-Charge Swami Rwitanandaji of Kharagpur Unit of Bharat Sevashram Sangha started a sit on hunger from 27th April onwards as a protest and vowed to go on hunger unto death if the demolition order is not lifted completely.

BSS Hindu Tribal hostel under construction has partly been destructed by DRM Kharagpur.

As a matter of fact, the welfare activities and the Hindu missionary work by the local unit of world renowned Service Organization BHARAT SEVASHRAM SANGHA (BSS) at kharagpur have been creating a strength of social integration and Hindu awareness which has put the anti Hindu force to go on back foot, especially in the field of ‘Conversion of Tribal Hindus into Christianity’ by local Baptist Churches and its allies.

The BSS has promoted Hindu Cultural and Welfare activities by setting up a dispensary, library and book stall, tribal students’ shelter, guest house, Guru Mandir (Temple) and Hindu family counseling center just after its establishment in 1986, when the BSS authority had prayed to railway authority for giving lease formally when Mr. A B A Gani Khan Chowdhuri was in the concerned Ministry.  But, the Rly authority then gave only the verbal permission.

It may be noted that Kharagpur is world famous town for having the longest Railway Station in the world and the most of land of this town is possessed by the railways authority. The Railways authority has given huge lands for three churches are named as Ward Memorial Church, All Saints Church and Baptist Church without any problem. One Mosque named as KGP Rly Masjid is also situated in the very property of Railway authority, but only problem as sand in the eyes of authority is nothing but existence of Bharat Sevashram obviously in the Railway land. If other religious structures are so existed in the Railway lands what is the problem with BSS so far?

Monk in charge Swami Rwitanandaji hinted our correspondent about the railway conspiracy to a Hindu Organization from Railway land as they are unable to fulfill the procurement of bribe from them. There are several business occupation in the railway lands but the authority is very much interested to demolish a real social welfare organization. In the walled campus of BSS the railway displayed notice of demolition of the hostel building and broke a portion of it. The BSS authority has planned to establish a Polyclinic with the proposed hostel in that building now under the hammer of Indian Railway.

Revered Swamiji said that he has suspended the anashan (hunger-sit-on) on request, but he may continue it for a indefinite period if the authorities of Railway do not justice with the almost a century old (est. 1919) international Hindu organization with manifold social-cultural-educational-spiritual-&-huge welfare activities.

Swami Rwitanandaji Maharaj sat on Anshan (sit on hunger strike) for 2 days and withdrew after intense pressure from devotees and common Hindus who had many anxieties over Swami’s health. The members of Bharat Sevashram Sangha and VHP forced Railway administration and SDO to offer oral forgiveness to stop the order of Ashram destruction but the photos here along with conversion video of same day by Christian in Railway ground show how anti-Hindu Railway & Local Administration have become under TMC rule.

On one hand Mamata gives sop to Muslims on the other hand she assures that she is ready to give some money for Bharat Sevashram Sangha or Ram Krishna Mission but in reality her Railway & State Administration in Kharagpur tried to destruct a beautiful BSS Mandir & Ashram with the connivance of  Christian and Muslim conspirators. The temple is functional from 1986 & ironically was permitted verbally on Railway land by then Railways Minister Abu Barkat A Gani Khan Chowdhury, a Muslim but it seems our new CM is much more Islamist! In this development public would like to know from Mamata, whether  she is really willing to pay all the Monks & Pujaris of all BSS & RKM Temples & Ashrams in West Bengal like Imams & Muazzins?

Local supporters of Hindu Aswttiva (Hindu Existence Team), Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, Hanuman Akhara Parishad etc. are planning a convention against the vindictive demolition  of Hindu structures by Railway authority, DRM and the officers behind it.

There are over 50 big possessions of non Hindu structures in Railway land in West Bengal. Then what is the problem with Bharat Sevashram Sangha at Kharagpur railways land?

Riots erupt in Hyderabad after desecration of Hanuman Temple with Beef and Green colour.

Islamist created communal tension in Hyderabad after desecrating a Hanuman Temple as alleged.

Bhagyanagar (Hyderabad) | 9th April, 2012: An indefinite curfew was today imposed in the sensitive Madannapet and Saidabad areas of the walled city. A Hanuman temple at Kurmaguda, (in Saidabad) was found desecrated on the Sunday morning which was followed by incidents of stabbing and heavy stone-pelting, hence curfew has been imposed, police said.

A day after the Hanuman Jayanti (6th April, 20-12), in the early hours of Sunday, 8th April 2012, the devotees of the Hanuman temple at Kurmaguda, in Saidabad, were in for a shock to find green colour had been splashed on the walls of the temple and pieces of cow meat were thrown inside the temple from the grills.

The naturally agitated Hindu youth protested against this sacrilegious act. The Muslims who are a majority in that area launched an offensive on the Hindus and both sides engaged in a duel of stone fight. Sensing trouble, the police indulged in lathi charge and also fired tear gas hurting many of the protesters. At the same time, the Muslims grouped themselves into a larger group and more or less occupied the main road of Saidabad armed with stones and swords, eye witnesses told NewsBharati.

The incidents were reported from the Madannapet and Saidabad areas of the Old City here. Additional forces have been deployed there, a senior police official told.

Is Hyderabad resembling with Pak legacy?

Curfew has been clamped till further orders in the areas under Madannapet and Saidabad police station limits, Hyderabad Police Commissioner A K Khan said, adding police have picked up two persons for questioning.

“Miscreants pelted stones at buses and set at least two vehicles on fire. Two incidents of stabbing have also been reported,” the police official said.

“The situation is now under control. We have posted pickets and preventive measures are in place,” Hyderabad Police Commissioner A K Khan added.

“We are keeping strict watch in the sensitive areas,” Khan told reporters, appealing to people to cooperate with police and not beMeanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy directed Director General of Police, Dinesh Reddy, and other senior officials to take stringent action against the miscreants responsible for Madannapet incidents.

Hindu groups are demanding security of the community and punishment to wrong doers. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy reviewed the situation by talking to the top officials, official sources said. Source: HJS.

It is reported that the BJP corporator from Kurmaguda Sashi Yadav was leading the Hindu protest  rally over the Hanuman Temple desecration, while a big police contingent were trying to arrest Hindu Leader Thakur Raja Singh to suppress the Hindu Protesting force in Hyderabad.

In the year 2010, the Muslim perpetrators of Hyderabad attacked some Temples attached with Goshala (Cow Shelter House) and burnt cows alive to hurt the hindu sentiments during  Hanuman Jayanti.

Indefinite Curfew was imposed on Sunday (08/04/2012) to take control over the aggravating Communal Riot in Hyderabad.

Hyderabad | Post Jagran | 08 Apr 2012 :: An indefinite curfew was on Sunday clamped in some parts of the walled city here following communal clashes over alleged desecration of a religious place.

At least five persons were injured in incidents of stabbing and stone-pelting involving members of two communities, police said.

Curfew was imposed in Madannapet and Saidabad in Old City and will continue till further orders, Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police V Dinesh Reddy said.

Tension erupted in the morning following reports of alleged desecration of a religious place in Kurmaguda, wherein some devotees complained that they found “meat” and green-coloured water near a place of worship.

Enraged members of the community took out rallies that culminated in stone-pelting. As the news spread, members of other community too assembled in large numbers and also indulged into heavy brickbatting against each other and at houses in Kurmaguda besides the communally sensitive areas of Madannapet and Saidabad, thus prompting police to cane charge and burst of teargas shells to disperse marauding mobs. Widening Kiran-Owaisi rift causes Hyderabad Tension?

Kiran-Owaisi rift widens

April 7, 2012 | Deccan Chronicle |  Hyderabad :: The gulf between the ruling Congress, in particular, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, and the Owaisi brothers of the MIM is widening. The recent broadside by Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, against the state’s failure to contain communal violence, is said to be a reflection of the growing differences between the MIM and the CM.

The MIM is providing crucial support to the Congress government, which is in a precarious position in the numbers game in the Assembly. The government will slip into a minority if five of its members quit, and in such an event, a formal letter of support from the seven-member MIM becomes crucial for its survival.

Though both sides were ill at ease for some time, the recent communal violence in Sangareddy and the CM’s reaction to the complaints by a leaders of Muslim organisations, led by the MIM, came as a shock.

Sources told this newspaper that the CM had totally backed the local MLA, Jagga Reddy, whom the Muslim organisations had held responsible for attacks against their community. The party also objected to the inordinate delay sanctioning relief to victims of the Adoni communal violence in September 2011. Read the full story….

1,500-yr-old Hindu temple in Karachi being renovated after stashing all the Islamic hurdles.

Posted by hinduexistence on February 25, 2012

Recycling history: And all of Hanuman’s men put this temple together again

Published: February 20, 2012 || The Express Tribune, Pakistan.
…….

Pancahmukhi Hanuman Temple Karachi dates back to 1500 years old.

KARACHI: It was a tough fight – including a lawsuit and a call for donations – but one of Karachi’s oldest Hindu temples is finally being renovated.

The 1,500-year-old Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir is finally getting a facelift with the use of its old stones after its management battled with land grabbers to regain partial control of its original land.

One of the oldest temples in the city, the Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir is tucked away in Soldier Bazaar. Even though work on its renovation suffered a setback a couple of years ago, its management is adamant that it will complete it, despite encroachments on the temple’s plot, intimidation and threats by land grabbers as well as a lack of funds.

“The temple was supposed to be renovated within two years. But a shortage of funds and the cases we have been fighting for the ownership of our land have slowed down the process. Yet we won’t give up,” says the determined Shri Ram Nath Maharaj, the temple’s caretaker. The Hanuman temple holds special significance for Hindus.

“It is the only temple in the world which has the natural statue of the Hanuman deity, and is not man-made. Years ago, the statue was discovered from this place,” he explains, pointing towards the 8-foot blue and white statue, which is located in a room that will not be touched for renovation or reconstruction. The rubble of building material and grilles lies around the temple as construction continues on a free langar khana or soup kitchen and a praying area. To preserve the look and feel of the temple, the original yellow stones are being used to rebuild the arched walls. “We believe in preserving our temple. We had to renovate because it was in ruins, with parts of the roof caving in.”

Blocks of old stones are being moulded into new ones. “The process of using the old stones to rebuild is time-consuming, difficult and costly. It is easier to buy new material and use it,” explains the Maharaj.

Renovations start soon. Donate generously.

But as Dr Noman Ahmed, the chairperson of the architecture and planning department at the NED University, put it, houses of worship are usually preserved by using the same material from which they were originally built. “Unless there is a defect in the stones, the same ones can be used to rebuild them,” he said. However, there is rarely major reconstruction done on ancient buildings. Instead there are minor restorations or cleaning. “Temples can be rebuilt in a personal capacity but it is better to seek professional help from the government’s heritage department,” he urged.

The temple isn’t being renovated with the yearly budget allocated to the Sindh minorities’ affairs ministry. Instead, poor Hindus and the Muttahida Qaumi Movement stepped up with donations.

“We need Rs4.5 million for the reconstruction,” said the Maharaj. “We have received half of the money but we need the rest to complete it.” A banner hangs in the temple requesting for donations.

Encroaching on the house of worship

The Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir has faced the same issue as many of the temples in the city – encroachment. Half of the 2,609 square feet land of the temple has been taken over.

According to documents shared by the Maharaj, in 1995 the plot (GRE 270 and 271) was divided into 10 parts. Land grabbers claimed the lease. In 2006, the temple won back four of these plots after the lease was cancelled by a district court and then-DDO East Sultan Ahmed issued a notice.

The anti-encroachment department was ordered by the City District Government Karachi to remove the illegal encroachers from three other plots, but even though six years have passed, that decision has yet to be implemented. “The illegal owners continue to reside on the land which belongs to the temple. We are still fighting in court for the ownership of the other two plots,” said the Maharaj as he sat in his incense-filled office, where a stereo played bhajans or hymns and pictures of Hanuman adorned the walls.

It seems that the temple has its work cut out. The official who runs the anti-encroachment work in KMC, Abdul Malik, was unaware of the illegal occupation on the temple’s land. “I know there is a temple in Soldier Bazaar, but I don’t know if there are encroachments around it,” he said, promising to look into it.  Maharaj hopes to win back their land. “We could once again attract foreign devotees. When we win back our land, I will make guest rooms, a parking lot and a place for shoes,” he said. For now, the Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir has to make do with what little land it has managed to regain.

Hindu Power Worship in Navratri & Durga Pooja World Wide. Power Wishes to Every Sikh, Sanatani & Hindus.

Posted by hinduexistence on October 1, 2011

The adoration of Mahashakti in Navarti  divulges the way to remove all evils and inertia.

Durga Puja in Belur Muth

Hindu Existence Desk Kolkata : Amidst vedic chants and religious hymns, devotees worlwide thronged the, Shakti Peethas,  temples, holy shrines as Navratri – the nine-day festival dedicated to Goddess Durga – began Wednesday the 28th Sept, 2011.

Eager to offer coconuts, ‘chunris’, bangles, vermilion and other religious items, devotees in serpentine queues were seen waiting for their turn outside the temples to seek the deity’s blessings.

“It is believed the devotees who pray and fast during the auspicious occasion are blessed by the divine mother,” Dev Narayan Shastri, a priest at the Lucknow Kalibari temple in Uttar Pardesh, India, told reporters.

Besides the Kalibari temple in Chowk locality, a heavy rush of devotees was also witnessed at Maa Chaturbhuji temple in Gosainganj, Bhagwati temple in Aliganj and Chandrika Devi temple in Bakshi ka talab – situated on the outskirts of the city of Lucknow.

“Prayers during Navratra hold special significance as they are answered by the Goddess Durga if offered with a true heart,” said a devotee Satyadev Mishra.

Devotees thronged in front a Temple in Navrati.

The nine nights of the festival are devoted to the reverence of the nine aspects of the divine mother.

Navratri the festival dedicated to the Goddess Durga started from today with absolute devotion and bliss. With the sthapana starts the nine days of fasting and prayers dedicated to the nine forms of Goddess of Power.

The temples have been preparing for this festival from last so many days and today at the auspicious time ‘mahurat’ ghat sthapana took place and wheat seeds were kept for germination. These germinated seeds will be immersed in the water at the end of the festival. However, different communities practice different rituals to offer their tribute to Maa Shakti (Goddess of Supreme Power).

On one hand religious people adhere to strict rules, regular visit to temples and austere life during these days; the youth on the other hand remains busy with preparation of garba-dandiya in the day and enjoying it at night.

The most beautiful Navratri celebration of Udaipur (Rajasthan India) at Sutharwara has also observed a grand beginning of the 9 day festival. It started with a magnificent dance performance by artists of Jasol village of Barmer which has enthralled the spectators.

A large number of firecrackers were busted just before the Maha Aarti took place on the 50 feet high stage where the idol of Goddess Amba is placed. “Nearly 5000 devotees visit this place every day,” says Tulsiram Mali, President of Sutharwara Mitra Mandal.

Since early this morning, large number of devotees visited various temples of Udaipur including, Neemuch Mata, Ambamata, Karni Mata, Avri Mata and Sukhdevi Mata Temples all in Rajasthan.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday reviewed security arrangements in and around the cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi ahead of the  commencement of Navratri festival. Vaishnodevi Mata shrine of the most visited Shakti Peeth is likely to draw  thousands and  lakhs of devotees these days around Navratri.

In Indore in Madhyapradesh Several religious processions were taken out in various parts of the city on occasion of ‘ghat sthapna’. ‘Kalash and chunri yatras’ were taken out under patronage of various groups. Special arrangements have been made at ‘devi’ temples like Bjiasan where CCTV cameras have been installed and police and BSF guards will be posted.
………………
In most regions of Gujarat, aarti of Goddess Amba precedes garba, thus setting devotion to the goddess as the common aim of the participants. Through the aarti, all participants pursue, consciously or subconsciously, a common goal for the well-being of the whole society. Their thirst for power is channelised and focused into the worship of Shakti, which is power for the common good. This is the first step towards restoration of social health. The sense of separateness must be replaced by the sense of community if Goddess Amba as Shakti the healer is to work for the whole society.

Navratri at Balaji Tirupati.

While aarti reminds participants of the real objective of garba, the distribution of prasadam at the end symbolises the food that is produced as a fruit of the effort of all members of society.

InVadodara and Rajkot and in other cities in Gujrat people dance traditional garba for hours together.

With Navratri beginning on 28-09-2011, Wednesday preparations for Durga Pooja are also in full swing. Widely celebrated in West Bengal, Durga Pooja marks the arrival of Goddess Durga at her father’s place.

The city will see several decorated mandals bearing the idol of Goddess Durga. There will be pandals in Vastrapur, Maninagar, Chandkheda and Sabarmati, among other areas in Gujrat. She will be worshipped for five days beginning from October 1. The last day of Durga Pooja is also celebrated as Vijayadashami (10th day of victory).

Traditional Garba and Dandiya Dances are fully dedicated to Devi Maa.

Speaking  about the festival, general secretary of Bengal Cultural Association (Ahmedabad), KD Adhikari said, “We are having a huge mandal in Vastrapur at AES ground. This is our 74th year of celebration in Ahmedabad, the oldest by any association of Gujarat to celebrate Durga Pooja.”

Hundreds of devotees thronged the Jhandewala Temple to worship Goddess Durga, as the nine-day long Navratri festival boosted the energy of festivity in the capital city of Delhi in India.

The festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm and devotees often fast for all nine days.

Reminiscent of other temples dedicated to the Goddess, ‘Navaratri’ is the special event that is celebrated with full fervor at Mahalakshmi Temple in Mumbai Maharashtra. During the gala time of ‘Navratri’, the temple is decorated from the top to bottom. Devotees from far and near come to pay their homage to the Goddess. Even they don’t mind standing in long queues to have a glimpse of Goddess Mahalakshmi at this time. In this Temple Maha Laxmi, Maha Saraswati and Maha Kali are worshiped with top most veneration and strict rituals.
……………….

Dandiya at Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

In Bengal, both in West Bengal & Bangladesh and in Tripura & Assam and obviously in all places  where ever the Bengali Hindus live; they observe the five days Durgotsav as their biggest festival in the whole year as a religious and cultural part of their life. Kolkata the capital city of Paschimbanga (West Bengal) more than 1250 Pooja committees are trying hard to present their best to observe the most lovable celebration of Bengali Hindus with all colors and grandeur. In Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh 196 Poojas are arranged this year with all devotion of largest minority  Hindus out side India.

In the Northern East India, news of Durga Pooja comes in with all enthusiasm from Agartala, Kailashara of Tripura and Guwahati, Kacchar, Dibrugarh and other places of Assam along with the possible arrangements in Shillong in Meghalaya and Imphal in Manipur.

A special programme of Navratri including Pooja, Havan, other rituals including the discourses on spirituality is goning on in the international center of Art of Living in Bangalore, India.

To mark the celebration of Navratri, as West Bengal celebrates ‘Durga Pooja’, Gujaratis ‘Dandiya’; Amritsar in Punjab celebrates Langoorwala Mela dedicated to Lord Hanuman.

Hindu-Sikh devotees also pay obeisance in large number at Durgiana Temple during Navratri festival in the northern Indian city of Amritsar.

Although this festival is not so prominent amongst the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Singh in his magnus opus ‘The Dasam Granth’ narrates three separate compositions in grace of Mother Durga – ‘Chandi di Var’ in Punjabi, ‘Chandi Charitra 1 and Chandi Charitra 2′ in Braj. (kanwal). Many pious Sikhs usually complete the full reading of Dasam Granth with an emphasis upon Chandi Charitra accordance to the Sikh heritage.

Navratri and Durga Pooja conclude on Dussehra.

Actually from Gauhati to Gandhinagar and Jammu to Rameswaram , the whole Bharat is overwhelmed with Durga Pooja and Navratri.

……………
On the other hand the NRI Hindus are also very much engrossed with the fervor of the festivity and  devotion for a Navaratri and Durga Puja in abroad also. News came in from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, Sweden, Fiji, Malaysia and other places for a Grand Celebrations of Shakti Aradhana and Utsav.
……………………….
The news of celebration of nine nights came in as the Indo American Cultural Foundation of Central New Jersey would present multiple events at South Brunswick High School and Crossroads South Middle School.
……………….
Sri Shubhamoy Das an expert commentator on Hinduism in about dot com gives us a very special feature about  Top 36 Durga Pujas Around the World that may help us certainly to give us an essence of Hindu Life overseas India.
……….
The nine-day festival is mostly celebrated on a larger scale at Sialkot and Rawalpindi in Punjab while a large Hindu population commemorates it in Sindh in Pakistan. But due to the small number of Hindus in Lahore, the festival was not held on a large scale basis, especially because most of it was held within homes.
…………………
The whole world is now seeing the way of worship of Mother Power by Hindus and Roots in India. Jai Mata Di. Durga Mai Ki Jai.
…………………..
HINDU EXISTENCE FAMILY WISH A VERY POWERFUL AND PROSPEROUS NAVRATI & DURGA POOJA TO EVERY BODY.

Posted by hinduexistence on September 23, 2011

Murudeshwara Shiva Temple

~ by M. Nandakumar

Murudeshwara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, lies in the holy beach town in the Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. Situated between the Honnavar and Bhatkal town(about 12kms) The statue of Shiva here is the world’s tallest (as claimed) and it lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea.
The Statue of Shiva with Ravana handing Atma Linga to Bramhin boy(Lord Ganesha)

History
The name “Murudeshwara” means Shiva or Eeshwara. The significance of this holy town dates to the time of Ramayana. By penance dedicated to the AtmaLinga, the divine Lingam of Shiva procures invincibility and immortality to the Hindu Gods. Ravana, the Lanka King worshipped Shiva with devotion to attain immortality by obtaining the AtmaLinga. Lord Shiva appeared before Ravana and asked him what he wanted. By this time Lord Vishnu to change Ravana’s mind on behest of Narada. As a result of this plot, Ravana asks for Goddess Parvathi, and Lord Shiva offers him.
On his way back to Lanka Narada tricks Ravana that the real Parvathi was in Pathala. So Ravana lets off Parvathi and went to Pathala and marries a king’s daughter thinking that she was Parvathi. When he returns back to Lanka his mother then asks for linga. Ravana knowing that he was tricked is angry with Vishnu and meditates to please Lord Shiva.
Lord Shiva appears and Ravana asks for His forgiveness. And this time, Ravana requests the AtmaLinga as his boon. Lord Shiva agreed to give him the boon with a condition that it should never be placed on the ground. It is believed that the AtmaLinga was ever placed on the ground, all the powers would return to Lord Shiva again. Having obtained his boon, Ravana started back on his journey to Lanka.
Sage Narada, realised that with the AtmaLinga, Ravana may obtain immortality and create havoc on earth, approached the Lord Ganesh to help him. As Ravana was nearing Gokarna, Lord Vishnu blocked the sun to make it appear as dusk. Ravana now had to perform his evening rituals but was worried because with the AtmaLinga in his hands, he would not be able to do his rituals. At this time, Lord Ganesh, disguised as a Brahmin boy came near him.
Ravana requested him to hold the AtmaLinga until he performed his puja, and told him not to place it on the ground. Ganesh struck a deal with him saying that he would call Ravana thrice, and if Ravana did not return within that time, he would place the AtmaLinga on the ground. As predicted, before Ravana could return after completing his rituals, Ganesh had already placed the AtmaLinga on the ground. Vishnu then removed his illusion and it was daylight again.
Ravana got really angry that he was tricked and tried to uproot the AtmaLinga and destroy it but could not. In a fit of rage he threw the case covering it to a place called Sajjeshwara, 23 miles away. Then he threw the lid of the case to a placed called Guneshwara (now Gunavanthe)and Dhareshwara, 10-12 miles away. Finally, he threw the cloth covering the AtmaLinga to a placed called Mrideshwara in Kanduka-Giri (Kanduka Hill). Mrideshwara has been renamed to Murudeshwara.

Gold coins of Ganga period found from Pachrahi excavation

Author: Atul Kumar | Source: India-Education Diary | Posted by TANN

Pachrahi Gold Coin

The excavations at Pachrahi, district Kabirdham, Chhattisgarh opened many hidden treasures in the Indian archaeology and history. The excavation revealed more than 8 temples, big royal palaces, more than 200 coins of gold, silver and copper coins. The outstanding discoveries are the fossils of 15 crore years old and a large prehistoric site.

The outstanding discovery is the finding of gold coins of Ganga period of Odisha.Gangas were the mighty dynasty of Odisha in the medieval period. In this dynasty one king Chodaganga dev has been considered to be the most powerful king of his time in eastern Inida.By erecting the Jagannatha temple and by increasing the importance of this famous shrine he also earned immortal fame in Orissan history.

During his time he attempted to enlarged his empire in all the directions. So he attempted to occupy the some portion of South Kosala area(Chhattisgarh area). But by that time this South Kosala area had been occupied by  the Kalachuris of Ratanpura. So he waged a war against the Kalachuri king Ratan dev II(AD1120-1135). But the result of the war is not clear.

Howevere the findings of gold coins of this dynasty in the south kosala area  or Chhattisgarh area ,clearly indicates that there was some sort of political or cultural or trade relation between the Kalinga country and south kosala area.

Note: For the first time the gold coins of Ganga dynasty have been found in this area which shows the cultural, political, and trade relation between two states during that period.
