Jehadi threats are looming upon Hindu Pilgrimage at Ganga Sagar.

High security and red alert to check the Islamofascist in “Gangasagar Mela” could not restrain the Hindu pilgrimage never anyway.

As the Islamists and Maoists nexus declared the possible blast in this greatest Hindu Convergence in the holy confluence of river Ganga in its end point at Gangasagar island in south 24 district of West Bengal in India, the security forces took the charge of the areas to protect the safety and security of the pilgrimages came wide before the occasion to be  started on and from 14th January this year.

Though this year of 2010 includes Purna Kumbha Mela at Haridwar and another Kumbha Mela at Tishur Mutth in the Decan and consequently the Hindu pilgrimages would be distributed in different Holy places in India within a short span of time, an estimated Five Lakhs of pilgrimages are expected in Makar Sankranti Mela at Ganga Sagar in 2010, this time.

As per Home Ministry of India source, the Maoists are right to attack upon the Kumbha Melas and various Jehadi Groups are preparing to attack upon the prominent Hindu shrines, temples and gatherings to spread a fear psychosis upon the commoners. In this connection the Jehadi attack upon the Gangasagar Mela is not denied from any end in practical threat. Previously it is  authenticated that the Maoists are strategically getting help from both the Christian and Islamic fundamentalists to weaken the Hindu strength in India for the last three years.

In India, unfortunately, the Hindus are compelled to pay ‘Tirtha Kar’ – Pilgrimage Tax (as Jijiah Tax in Mughal period) for their pilgrimage in Gangasagar. This is imposed by the State authority with a sanction of their Central counterpart, whereas the Muslims are given Haj subsidy, procuring the revenue from the Hindu citizens.

It is learnt that the concerned District Council Chairperson Shamima Sheikh and District Magistrate Mohammed Khalil Ahamed are very rigid to extrude this pilgrimage tax over 20 crores from the Hindus for incurring the various expenditure for arranging the Mela infrastructures.

It is also reported that the Muslims are gradually increasing their numbers in this island (Gangasagar Island) aspiring a demographic change and some Muslims groups are also collecting booty from the visiting Hindu tourists by force in the name of erecting Muslim tomb or holding Islamic functions.

In 2008 a Muslim mob lead by Sk. Ismail attacked a visiting Hindu group, came for their work-shop, so that no Hindu organisation may spread their activities to resist the Islamofascist design in Gangasagar.

Anyway, the present Jehadi threat perception prevails in Gangasagar creating a high tension in each level.
