Anti Hindu elements erupted communal clashes to stop Ramnavmi Procession in Kanpur. Heavy deployment of Police to restore peace in the area. Police started case against 700 unidentified culprits.  Sec. 144 imposed in the city.

1157_9PTI | Kanpur (Uttrpradesh) Apr 09, 2014 :: After a clash between two communities over the route of a procession on the occasion of Ram Navmi in Kalyanpur area near in Kanpur, the district magistrate on Wednesday appealed to people to maintain peace and harmony. [See Hindi report here].

The situation is under control in the area and schools and colleges have been opened, DM Roshan Jacob told reporters, adding SMS alerts have also been sent out to people in the area.

A team of senior officials has already been sent to the area for investigations, he said. CCTV cameras have been installed in the area and a police picket has been posted, the DM said.

According to reports, the clash broke out in Rawatpur village of Kalyanpur area last evening when a procession on Ram Navami was diverted from its usual route citing poor condition of roads.

According to police, organisers did not take permission for diverting the procession.

More than half-a-dozen shops were vandalised and a jeep of the magistrate was burnt by the rioters. Police caned and fired shells of tear gas to bring the mob under control.

Around 12 persons were reported with minor injuries whereas some police officials also were reportedly injured in the incident.

Meanwhile, public on Wednesday faced inconvenience as political parties took out procession in favour of their Lok Sabha candidates in the city. Samajwadi Party candidate Surendra Mohan Aggarwal filed his nomination papers from the Kanpur Lok Sabha seat.

Bhaskar News  | Kanpur  |  Apr 09, 2014 :: A clash between two communities on the eve of Ram Navami in Sayed Nagar of Kalyanpur area in Kanpur left at least eight people injured on Tuesday. The communal violence broke out over taking out of Ram Navami procession in the area.

Tension was the order of the day as the two rival groups resorted to indiscriminate firing and lobbed hand-made bombs during the clash. Police had to resort to cane-charge to control the mobs after they tried to manhandle them.

A heavy police force, led by senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ajay Kumar Mishra, district magistrate Raushan Jacob and city’s additional DM Avinash Singh rushed to the site and tried to resolve issue.

Eight injured in communal clash in Kanpur

1156_5HT Correspondent |  Kanpur |  April 08, 2014:: Eight people were injured when members of two communities fought a pitched battle over taking out of Ram Navmi procession in Sayed Nagar of Kalyanpur area in Kanpur late Tuesday evening.

Panic spread in the area after the rival groups resorted to indiscriminate firing and lobbed hand-made bombs during the clash. Police had to resort to cane charge to control the mobs after they tried to manhandle them.

A heavy police force, led by senior superintendent of police (SSP) Ajay Kumar Mishra, district magistrate Raushan Jacob and city’s additional DM Avinash Singh rushed to the site and tried to resolve issue.

The religious procession, containing dozens of vehicles, began from a temple in Rawatpur and was supposed to pass through various localities, including Maswanpur, Raushan Nagar, Sayed Nagar, Awas Vikas colony before ending at the temple.

When it reached Sayed Nagar, the organisers took alternative lanes and by-lanes as the traditional route was badly damaged.

 

 At one point the residents stopped the procession by parking hand-driven carts in the passage. This led to the clash and soon thousands of people joined in.

However, before things could go out of hand, the DM and SSP managed a solution to the dispute following which the procession ‘rath’ passed through the lane but the devotees and other vehicles went through the traditional route.

    This all black sheep of society should be remove from our indian society as soon as posfrom india at ansible thrown away from india outside or rid them any cost or any price otherwise the common man or person unable to survive and if this way continue then not far very soon every and each indian people haveto take as refugee and have to quit india and take shelter in other powerful country and have to do slavery under their power peoples contry.please come alltogeher and let stop all this.And in future who lead india and who would be the most powerful in india the stranger and unknown person and peoples of majority who comes from other unknown strangers country and our indian political cheaps party who govern the india that times give this black sheep stranger permission and citizenship so that they easily come and invade our motherland and make life more and more fearful and critical for every common man and born abrought up indian peoples like us to have sufferaed in everyday life.

    Who are being communal now? Can’t these stupid Congress, communists and other fools see it for themselves? Muslims are just about 10% of the total population, yet they can do this. Just imagine if their population swell a bid higher like 30%. That’s it…you guys are gone. The days for the Hindus, Christians, Buddhist, Sikhs and Jains to take refuge in other countries are not far. Wake up guys. Don’t get brainwashed by these selfish politicians. They would have siphoned/swindled enough for themselves and their family members. They are like leech. They will suck until the country is habitable. Once it is not, they will migrate. But, you guys got to live there. So be prudent in your choice. It is not practical that you practice total secularism when your opponents are an ardent believer of communalism. Note that there are 56 Islamic nations in the world but, none of it is practising secularism. All are communal in nature and practice. That will be the fate of India if Islam were to took over India. Things won’t differ much from countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and others.
    Hence, it’s high time that Hindus be more proactive in the protection and propagation of our religion. MS Annie Wood Besant, the disciple of swami Vivekananda once said:
    “After a study of some forty years and more of the great religions of the world, I find none so perfect, none so scientific, none so philosophical and none so spiritual that the great religion known by the name of Hinduism. Make no mistake, without Hinduism, India has no future. Hinduism is the soil in to which India’s roots are struck and torn out of that she will inevitably wither as a tree torn out from its place. And If Hindus do not maintain Hinduism who shall save it? If India’s own children do not cling to her faith who shall guard it. Hinduism alone can save India and India and Hinduism is one.”

    all this is being just becoz.of COMMUNAL MENTALITY…………… All over the world the contries who don’t want ‘The MENTALITY like Brutal Talibans & Shariya’ in their country they also have to think are they doing & thinking right for world peace. …….neighbours of INDIA like CHINA who has INSECURE thinking by INDIAN forces for that they want to take high peak.. lands of india… …..have to know history of india in which- ..coz of bad administration SHRI RAM ji’s army won LANKA & gave back to KING VIBHEESHAN (right one for the society & peace in lanka). …..we are hindu who take world CITIZEN as GOD’s OWN CHILD (VASUDHAVE KUTUBKUM – god’s family on earth).. world CITIZEN & LEADERS also have to think for world’s ancient traditionalize culture………… “firstly for real indian civics & thinkers.. from world”
