7 years old Hindu girl child student sexually violated by Muslim school van puller as alleged.

HENB | Usthi -WB | May 10, 2015:: In a very shocking development, a case of alleged sexual violation on a 7 years old girl child has been surfaced on Wednesday (May 6, 2015) in Bamna village under Usthi Police Station jurisdiction in the district of South 24 Parganas of West Bengal.

The victim Bishakha (name changed) Banik, the daughter of a Hindu farmer Prabhakar Banik was afraid to attend her school named “Saptagram Kishalaya Mission” a primary and upper primary school under Allah Amin Mission, for a couple of days with severe irritation. While the matter was noticed by the victim’s mother, it was revealed that Habibur Rahaman Laskar alias Habib Laskar (38 yrs), the school van puller of “Saptagram Kishalaya Mission”, had been in practice of series of sexual violation with the little girl at the lone time. Bishakha is a student in the primary section in class one standard in the Saptagram Kishalaya Mission.

At the earliest, the parents of the victim reported the matter to Ajijul Haq Gayen, the Head Master of the school to punish the school van puller Habibur. But, without taking any action against the perpetrator, the culpable HM gave a safe passage to Habibur to flee away.

Seeing the odd situation, the parents reached to nearest Usthi Police Station (03174-250203), with the victim girl child to register a FIR against the alleged rapist Habibur and the Islamic school authority. The Usthi PS registered a case (Usthi PS Case No. 257/15) and referred the victim to Diamond Harbour Sub Divisional Hospital for medical test. The victim was examined by the medical board there on 9th May.

Our representatives anyway met the parents of the victim and gathered the information of huge political pressure upon the victim’s family for giving no harsh statement against the absconding perpetrator. From the antecedents of the case as on date, it is perceived that the Trinmool Congress party is trying hard to suppress the matter as the victim is a kaffir (infidel) Hindu girl and the alleged person is a great Momim (Muslim). The local politics is totally controlled by the Muslims of that areas.

At latest, it is known that the communal minister (Ministry of Minority Affairs ) of West Bengal and the local MLA of TMC, Mr Giyasuddin Molla called the parents in a function of blood donation camp at Bamna Brother Club at Gayenpara near the victim’s house today and  tried to convince the parents not to go further in any case. He also offered Rs 2000/- (US $ 32 appx) to the victim’s family to treat the victim and drop the case. But, the father of the victim refused the money and strongly retaliated.

Prabhakar, the brave-heart father of the the victim told HENB that we are not to negotiate the matter anyway at the cost of our daughter’s chastity. The Muslim culprits must be punished and the school must be closed as it may cause danger to the other students also.

The victim may be produced to the DH ACJM Court on Monday as normal procedure. This case comes under POCSO Act, 2012 which is meant for Protection of Children from Sexual Offences.
