India condemns Asaduddin Owaisi over his legal support to IS terror suspects.

Raja Singh (from Goshamahal Assembly Constituency of Telengana)  on Sunday sought the arrest of MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi for extending legal support to the five suspected IS supporters arrested by the NIA last week. He demanded that the political recognition of AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul Muslimeen, a party made from fundamental Rajakar troop)  be cancelled. He also seeks Owaisi’s immediate disqualified from LS.

MIM president and Member of Parliament from Hyderabad, Asaduddin Owaisi declared the legal aid from his party to the NIA arrested 5 Muslim youths with  suspected link with Islamic State.

Speaking at a media conference, Raja Singh said the government was supporting a party which “had an alliance with terrorists”. “The entire world is on the warpath to end terrorism and the Telangana government is supporting those who encourage terrorism. With the support of the MIM, terror operatives and suspects are existed in the Old City of Hyderabad.

“Earlier, when terror supporters were arrested from the Old City they were assisted financially and in other ways by the MIM. Does the TRS government want Islamic Telangana by supporting a party openly supporting Jihad,” he asked.

He accused the Telengana government of indulging in appeasement politics and not taking action against terrorism. He questioned the Govt policies of Shadi Mubarak scheme, which funds the marriage of poor Muslims, gives overseas education loans for Muslims, special Iftar to five Mosques under each MLA, and extending prize money for Muslim sportsmen etc. only given to the Muslims and not to Hindus in need.

Complaint, petition against Owaisi filed in Hyderabad, Meerut

A city advocate on Sunday was lodged a complaint against MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi on Sunday, demanding immediate action on him for announcing legal aid to five locals who were arrested by the NIA on charges of involvement in an alleged ISIS module.

Mr K. Karuna Sagar  who lodged the complaint with the Saroornagar  police, said Mr Owaisi’s stand was “giving oxygen to terrorists”. “Owaisi is directly or indirectly helping the ISIS which had come up with a video in which it threatened to target India,” he said.

In Meerut, a petition seeking a case against Mr Owaisi was filed in a court by UP Bar Council member Anil Kumar Bakshi, who alleged the Hyderabad MP’s remarks “amounted to treason”.

Though Owaisi assured action within framework of constitution, many forums and social activists finally broke their silence on Owaisi, who created a big row over denying Bharat Mata ki Jai slogan. Renowned social activist Abha Singh accused Owaisi of playing ‘vote bank politics’ and promoting terrorism at this time.
