Goseva Sankalp Rally at Jantar Mantar demands National Cow Protection Bill by Modi Govt.

Upendra Bharati | HENB | New Delhi | Nov 7, 2016:: As announced by Govindacharya a four-day programmes by the Bhartiya Goseva Sankalp Samiti, thousands of Hindus gathered today at Jantar Mantar. The Goseva Sankalp Rally was held to mark completion of 50 years of the November 7, 1966 anti-cow slaughter agitation in which several demonstrators had died in police firing in the national capital while they were gheraoing Samsad Bhawan. RSS stalwart and ex BJP national secretary Govindacharya said, “The man to cattle ratio has declined disastrously. When India became independent the ratio was one cattle to one person. Today, the ratio is one cattle to seven person. There is an urgency to curb this decline. Hence, a central-level overarching law should be there to ban slaughter of cow lineage.”

Govindacharya said cows should be sanctioned legal identity. “No one speaks on behalf of cow when its pasture is encroached upon. The solution (to the problem) is to give cow a legal identity like it was given to Ram Lalla in Ayodhya and the case was fought on his behalf,” he added.

The samiti also demanded that the government ban import-export of meat, that independent ministries dealing with cow issues are set up at central and state levels and Cow Science University formed for research on cow lineage.

In today’s programme BJP Rajya Sabha (upper house of Indian parliament) Dr Subramanian Swamy reiterated and reminded the Govt. the importance of Cow Protection in India for the prosperity of country on the basis of cow resources as well as the protection of Bharatiya culture not going against the majority sentiment. He urged the Narendra Modi led BJP Govt in the Center to bring a National Cow Protection Bill immediately to perpetuate complete ban on Cow Slaughter according the Art 48 of Indian constitution.

Art 48 of Indian constitution says, “The State shall endeavour to organise agriculture and animal husbandry on modern and scientific lines and shall, in particular, take steps for preserving and improving the breeds, and prohibiting the slaughter, of cows and calves and other milch and draught cattle.”

Jagatguru Shankaracharya of Jagannath Puri Govardhan Peeth Swami Nischalananda Saraswatiji Maharaj,  Rambalak Das ji Maharaj,  and so many eminent Hindu-Jain-Sikh-Arya Samaji saints and seers were present in today’s Goseva Sankalp Rally in Jantar Mantar.

Thousand of cow vigilantes and Save Cow Crusaders paid homage today to hundreds of  Martyrs Hindu devotees and Saints in Delhi killed 50 years ago by the then Congress Govt led by PM Indira Gandhi. They also condemned the anti-Hindu role of Congress party outrightly.
