Ahead of the Indian-American address in New Jersey, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had praised the Hindu community’s ‘fantastic’ contributions to world civilization and American culture. ‘The Hindu community has made fantastic contributions to world civilization and to American culture and we look forward to celebrating our shared values of free enterprise, hard work, family values, and a strong American foreign policy,’ Trump said in a statement during a gala event of Republican Hindu Coalition (RHC).

Shalli Kumar of RHC, appointed by Trump to his advisory committee for people from Asia Pacific region, said Trump would be the better choice than anybody to fight against Terrorism, poverty and also to make more better Indo-US tie up. RHC took huge responsibility to channelize the Hindu votes towards Trump this time.

‘The Hindu community has made fantastic contributions to world civilization and to American culture and we look forward to celebrating our shared values of free enterprise, hard work, family values, and a strong American foreign policy,’ Trump said in the event of RHC.

As a matter of fact, Indian-American electors of Hindu roots in US voted overwhelmingly in favor of Trump to settle him in White House for the next four years.

Dalai Lama and Upananda Brahmachari congratulate US President-elect

With many world leaders from political and social arena two religious leaders viz Superior Buddhist Guru of Tibetan origin Dalai Lama and Upananda Brahmachari of Hindu Existence conveyed  their congratulations to Trump from India.

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama has congratulated America’s President-elect Donald Trump, saying the world places great hope in the democratic vision and leadership of the US.

In a congratulatory letter sent to Trump on Wednesday, he said the Tibetan people and himself were honored with the support received by respective US Presidents and fellow Americans in the Tibetan people’s endeavor to protect and preserve ancient Buddhist culture.

He wished him prayers and good wishes for every success in the many challenges that lay ahead.

Prominent Hindu leader Upananda Brahmachari also expressed his pleasure for the win of Donald Trump as the President of US.

Upananda Brahmachari, Chairman of Hindu Existence Forum and Editor, Hindu Existence site openly urged to the Indian-American electorates to vote in favour of Trump. He also hinted earlier for the great victory of Trump well ahead.

The Hindu Existence Forum played a vital role in the Hindu campaign for the victory of Trump through its websites and social media platforms as well.

In a status in facebook Brahmachari wrote, “Congrat Donald J. Trump Sir. Make America Great with your sincere and benevolent efforts with a great union of peace loving and prosperous people amidst the friendship of all. We shall overcome the global terrorism and poverty.”

 

Brahmachari also congratulated all the elected Hindu and India root members in US Congress and Senate. In this election while Raja Krishnamurthy (Democrat- Illinois), Pramila Jayapal ( Democrat-Washington), Rohit Khanna (Democrat- California) and Tulsi Gabbard (Democrat-Hawaii) all elected in US Congress, Kamala Harris entered as a first Indian origin lady to US Senate from California in Republican affiliation.
