Center must pass strict law with huge penalty to stop degeneration of Indian pride by e.shopping marts: Brahmachari.

Amazon stops selling ‘rubber sandals with OM symbol’. But CafePress changes its link of ‘Indian flag pet apparel’ to ‘Indian map pet apparel’ for mocking Indians. Where is the end?

Yudhisthir Menon | HENB | New Delhi | Feb 10, 2017:: Due to campaign initiated by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and Hindu Existence Forum which created sharp protests by devout Hindus throughout the world, Amazon has removed rubber sandals with OM symbol and CafePress has pulled off ‘Indian flag pet apparel’. But the authorities have not rendered apology to Hindus for insulting revered symbol like OM or Indian Flag. Rather, it has been made a game of play by the Amazon, CafePress etc. to hurt the Hindu Sentiments and Indian Pride as they like to check the repercussions against it.

Amazon was selling rubber sandals with OM symbol (even after strong reaction from Indian Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj on Indian flag doormat) at the following link : https://www.amazon.com/Truly-Teague-Omkara-Meditation-Sandals/dp/B00YIOZ1LC?tag=viglink25168-20. Now it is disappeared.

CafePress was selling Pet apparel with Indian flags at the follwing link: http://www.cafepress.com/+india-flag+pet-apparel  But, sensing a huge report against that link, the culpable CafePress has changed its earlier link location to http://www.cafepress.com/+india-map+pet-apparel where both the Indian Maps and Flags are available imprinted on pet apparel. We must think now, where is the end?

Many e.shopping marts including Amazon are in fashion of selling various products like bed covers, bedspreads, duvet covers, under garments, foot wear; showing images of Hindu deity like Ganesha-Lakshmi, Indian symbols of pride and National leaders; which are highly inappropriate and Hindus and Indians have been protesting with an urge to withdraw all these objectionable items time to time.

This tug of war and the e.shopping trend to hurt Indian and specially the Hindu sentiment must be put to an end through a central legislation as opined by Upananda Brahmachari, the reputed Hindu interlocutor and editor of Hinduexistence website.

‘Humiliation of Indian and Hindu sentiments  have been made a joyful play by the e.shopping agencies these days. This must be stopped through a central law enforcement with attaching penalty of Rs 100 crores in each violation of the same. In case of three consecutive violation in a row, the business of the concerned company must be stopped forthwith in India’, Brahmachari told HENB.

Brahmachari has already moved the matter to the Central Law Ministry of India and Prime Minister’s Office (vide PMOPG/E/2017/0086187), as reported.
