West Bengal Govt is set to close all schools in RSS network.

While funding huge amount for Madrasa Education, WB CM Mamata Banerjee is trying to close all RSS affiliated schools. 

Now, 125 schools with ‘saffron links’ in Bengal under scanner to close down.

Upendra Bharti  | HENB | Kolkata | March 9, 2017:: When the Bengal Govt is promoting Quran and Urdu based Madrasha education in the state, the same Govt is trying to stop schools run by Hindu bodies connected with RSS.

 On Wednesday, the pro-Islamic and anti-Hindu Bengal government put on notice 125 schools, run by three private trusts perceived to be close to RSS affiliates, for “fanning religious intolerance” and “deviating from the state-mandated syllabus”.

These 125 schools are run by three trusts, Sarada Shishu Tirtha, Saraswati Shishu Mandir and Vivekanada Vidya Vikas Parishad, which proclaim to be affiliated to the Lucknow-based Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan. These organisations have a network of over 350 schools in Bengal, with a strength of over 60,000 students.

State education minister Partha Chatterjee singled out 125 of these 350 schools citing a “list” handed over by chief minister Mamata Banerjee, in her capacity as the state home minister with an ugly intention to schools run by the Hindu bodies under RSS influence.

Interestingly, this year the state of WB has announced a huge Rs 2815 Cr for Minority Affairs and Madrasa Education which is larger than total budget of Irrigation and Waterways (Rs. 2410 Cr), Large Industries-Textile (Rs.2154) and Backward Class & Tribal Welfare (Rs. 2775 Cr).

The intention of WB CM Mamata Banerjee alias Jihadi Did is very clear from her budgetary allocations. She is giving much importance on Islamic education through Madrasa and the welfare of Muslim minority in state, while trying to close 125 schools run by Hindutvawadi Sangha affiliates. WB Govt has intention to close all schools under RSS network phase by phase, as apprehended by HENB.

These  schools  have  no  records like Khagragarh blast and terror  link  with  Madrasha  Jihad.  Even  then  WB  CM Mamata  Banerjee  and  her  party  TMC  ( Total  Muslim Congress)  are  all united to stop RSS linked schools in  WB.

WB State BJP president Dilip Ghosh said 350-odd schools in the state are run by Vivekananda Vidyabikas Parishad, a registered body, and follow the curriculum set by Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan. “They are mostly in remote places, providing education to more than 60,000. They have been running in Bengal since 1975 when the first Sharada Sishu Tirtha was set up in Siliguri. They mostly follow the state school syllabus with some additional impetus to develop the student’s physical, moral and spiritual values. This is an accepted practice in the country and also the state. I think they are sniffing politics everywhere. If they do anything legal we are prepared to battle it out,” Ghosh said.

WB Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said the state was examining the 125 identified schools and would revoke their NOCs if needed. “We will not allow spreading religious intolerance in the name of teaching students,” he said. Of the 125 schools, 96 run without NOC. While 10 are affiliated to the state board, 19 have provisional NOCs. Chatterjee said many of the private schools get affiliation from central boards and take NOCs from the state, making it difficult to act against them.

But, the West Bengal Govt has no planning to stop thousands Khariji Madrasas in the state which are spreading radical teachings among the rural muslim children with local funds and funds from unknown sources.

Not only that, the culpable Islamist CM of Bengal used a seal bearing a pic of Mosque for the purpose of Madhyamik Examination (final of 10th standard) held by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education this year.
