Removing ‘secular’ from Constitution is must to make ‘Hindu State’ in Bharat: VHP leader Pravin Togadia.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Bhadohi (UP) | May 17, 2017: With an aim to making Bharat (India) as a constitutional Hindu Rashtra (Nation), senior Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Pravin Togadia has said that only when the word “secular” is removed from the Constitution, it will be possible to make India a real “Hindu nation”.

“This will ensure that only Hindus become prime ministers, chief ministers, judges and police chiefs,” he said on last Sunday (14th May) in a Bajrang Dal programme in the ‘carpet city’ Bhadoi in Uttar Pradesh.

In the sideline of the programme, Dr Togadia told HENB that this Nation (Bharavarsha) was unfortunately divided on ‘two nation theory’ in 1947. Muslims got Pakistan as their share, so this part of Bharat. i.e. Bharat is exclusively meant for Hindus and Hindu culture. Those who are ready to conflicts with Hindus and don’t admire Hindu culture and tradition are the enemies of the state. Every citizens in India are bound to say, Jai Shri Ram, Bharat Mata ki Jay and Vande Mataram.

Condemning the ‘secular’ attitude of Politicians, Dr Togadia questioned whether they really know the meaning of ‘secular’. Dr Togadia said, “Secular is a very ugly word in Bharatiya context as it means not attached with spirituality and Dharma. Bharat is a land of spirituality and Dharma. How can this country be a low like secular? ‘Secular’ and ‘Socialism’ were the two political words inserted into Indian constitution through amendment by Indira Gandhi in the black days of emergency. These two words are not the original part of Indian constitution and must be removed immediately”.

Known for his controversial remarks, Togadia added  that the stone pelters of Kashmir were “Pakistanis who just live in India, they should be gunned down”.

“Pelting security forces with stones is an act of war,” he said.

The VHP leader also suggested that just as Muslims pray at mosques on Fridays and Christians in churches on Sundays, Hindus should have a day for mass prayer and puja in the temples.

“Hindus must learn Dharma and must be proud for Hindu Dharma. Hindu is culture and tradition of this soil, Hindu is the way of life of the majority mass of this  land, Hindu is the original source of spirituality,  above all Hindu is the most ancient Dharma of the world. We must impart the darmik lesson to all of our generations with a new zeal. Instead of Secular Country, India must be declared as Hindu Republic”, Togadia told HENB.
