As an effect of Hindutva, which manifested through the UP election results and the subsequent rise of Yogi Adityanath, has made Rahul Gandhi (Congress vice president) start studying Upanishads and the Bhagawad Gita, said organisers of the 6th All-India Hindu convention (adhiveshan) which begins here next week.

Adhiveshan Schedule released

Addressing a press conference here to release the schedule of the convention to be held from June 14 to 17 at Ramnathi in Central Goa, Ramesh Shinde, national spokesperson of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, said, “Presently, brainstorming is going on across the nation on the topic of ‘Hindu rashtra’. This was one of the issues during the canvassing in the run-up to the UP Assembly elections. Mayawati of BSP and Asaduddin Owaisi of MIM had challenged Hindus over the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, and the people in UP gave a fitting reply to them. This example was enough to show how intense are the emotions of the people of ‘Bharat’ about the ‘Hindu Rashtra’. The strong effect of such emotions has made even Mr. Gandhi start studying Upanishads and Bhagawad Gita.”

Charudatta Pingale, national guide of HJS, said despite a BJP government at the Centre and several States many demands of Hindus are still pending.

Adhiveshan to seek nationwide beef  ban

Hindu organisations from various parts of the country and abroad will demand a nationwide ban on consumption of beef at the four-day convention, a Hindu Janjagruti Samiti functionary said today.

HJS National Guide Dr Charudatt Pingle announced that more than 400 delegates representing over 150 Hindu organisations from across the country, and also from Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will attend the sixth Hindu convention being organised by the HJS. “All 150 Hindu organisations from 21 Indian states besides three countries will demand a nationwide ban on beef consumption. The supreme court directives on beef ban are clear.

“Majority Hindu sentiments can’t be humiliated to appease Minority sentiments at the cost of violation of Indian constitution and various High courts and Supreme Court orders on Cow slaughter ban in India. The Union Govt must take strong step to ban cow slaughter seriously”, Dr Pingle told HENB at the sideline of the press meet.

In its website HJS gives a clarion call for the 6th Hindu Adhiveshan+ as, “O Supporters of the ‘Hindu Nation’ ! To defend the Hindu society, Nation and Dharma from dangers and to establish a ‘Hindu Nation’ in Bharat, ‘All India Hindu Convention’ were organised over the past five years. For protecting Hindu Dharma and establishing the ‘Hindu Nation’, the 6th All India Hindu Convention is being organised”.

The Adhiveshan will discuss and make action plan  for the following matters as

• Love jihad
• Religious conversion
• Prevention of Cow slaughter
• Save Temples
• Rehabilitation of Kashmiri Hindus
• Distortion of history
• Preserve spiritual and cultural heritage
• Uniting Lawyers and helping Hindu organisations
• Working unitedly during National calamities

This convention is very important so that 150 Hindu outfits to meet in Goa to discuss possibility of ‘Hindu Rashtra’ by 2023-25.
