GOI must ban words like ‘Jihad’, ‘Mujahideen’, ‘Azad Kashmir’ in Registration of Org, Trust etc.

Purdah bar at Kerala Edn. institute under Salafi Sect. But, why it is named as Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM)?

Govt of Indian Must ban words like Pakistan, ‘Jihad’, ‘Mujahideen’, ‘Gajwa-e-Hind’, ‘Free Kashmir’ etc. at the time of Registration of any Organisation, Institution. Trust .

B Upendran | HENB | Kozikode | July 18, 2017:: Mujahideen (Arabic: مجاهدين‎‎ mujāhidīn) is the plural form of mujahid (Arabic: مجاهد‎‎), the term for one engaged in Jihad (literally, “striving” or “struggling,” especially with an Islamic aim). Its widespread use in English began with reference to the guerrilla-type military outfits led by the Islamist Afghan warriors in the Soviet–Afghan War, and now extends to other jihadist outfits in various countries.

It is strange that Kerala Govt is allowing an Institute named as Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM), a Salafi organisation runs its educational Institute Jamia Nadwiya in Mallapuram District.

The Organisation with a Mujahideen tag recently hit the news headlines as its dress-code annoyed a Muslim girl who  has refused to join a teacher training institute under Jamia Nadwiya at Edavanna in Malappuram after the institution insisted that she could not wear purdah on all days while attending the class.

Husna C, wife of Muhammad Harshad P, decided not to pursue the course after institute authorities rejected her plea to wear purdah instead of sari. Jamia Nadwiya is run by Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM), a Salafi organisation.

“There is a stipulation in the institute that students should wear sari three days a week. My wife does not even wear churidar,” said Muhammad Harshad, husband of the girl. “So, we decided that purdah would be more comfortable and safe than sari. When we contacted the principal he said he also would support our decision, but added that he was helpless in the case,” Harshad said. He approached the state leadership of the KNM to get permission to wear the ‘Islamic dress’. But the authorities at Jamia Nadwiyya insisted on the dress code in the institution.

 “It cannot be relaxed for one individual. We have pre-school to BEd colleges under the trust and each institution has a particular uniform,” said assistant registrar of Jamia Nadwiyya, Adil Atheef. “We told the girl that if she is so particular in wearing purdah, she can join the Arabic College where the uniform is purdah,” said Adil.

In a letter to KNM general secretary P P Unneen Kutty Moulavi, Harshad said other institutions such as Farook College, Mambad MES (autonomous college) and Sullamussallam College, Areacode, allow students to wear purdah strictly.

There are two aspects of this ‘created’ news. 1. Showing that Salafi orgs are too liberal and reluctant to impose ‘Purdah’.  2. Through this created move through the ‘Purdah lover Girl Hisna C’, they want to establish that Muslim ladies are very much interested to wear ‘Purdah’. So, Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM) will start 24×7 Purdha in all their units!!

But, here in this trail, an important thing must not be ignored anyway. Govt. must issue strict circular that some words like ‘Pakistan’, ‘Jihad’, ‘Mujahideen’, ‘Gajwa-e-Hind’, ‘Free Kashmir’ etc. must be excluded at the time of registration of any Organisation, Institution. Trust etc. And if those names are registered already with any set up that must be expunged forthwith by appropriate law enforcement. The Central Law and Justice Minister Shri. Ravi Shankar Prasad must look into this matter.

It is true that the Kerala State Govts whether it is Congress or Left are very much reluctant to check Jihadi invasion in the state. But, present Central Govt run by BJP must not show any Jihadi indulgence in Kerala or any other state in India.

We know that Indian Mujahideen is an banned organisation. We don’t want any offshoot of it. Expunge the word ‘Mujahideen’ from Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen Trust. It’s very urgent.
