   India post release postage stamp on ramayana after so many years because of a secular country where as some of the most beautiful stamps commemorating Ramayana released over the last few decades in four Southeast Asian countries – Indonesia, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Also Czech Republic and Grenada release postage stamp on lord rama ,Sita and hanuman.

   Excellent, May Sri Rama bless you all as well as Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi. Ever since he became Prime Minister , many good things we notice , are happening to India. Quite appropriate to have Sri Rama and His story adore postage stamps of India, which in turn undoubtedly will further do immense good to the nation, world and all people. It is about time that India, land of birth for Sri Rama, Sita et al , take lead to make the world familiar with His story which is a document that promotes moral conduct, mutual amity and all round well being .

   Great job by Modi. Ramayana is celebrated by many countries around India, but we in India are scared of being stamped communal. Ridiculous.
