Hindu Sangharsh Sena leader shot dead in Amritsar by ‘suspected’ Khalistani Terrorists. Fifth murder in 2 years.

Manjeet Singh Brar | HENB | Chandigarh | Oct 30, 2017:: One of the activists of Hindu organisation again targeted by the unknown assailants in Congress run Punjab state. Less than two weeks after the murder of a local Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Ravinder Gosian in Ludhiana, another Hindu outfit leader, Vipin Kumar Sharma was shot dead in Amritsar by two unidentified men.

According to sources, Sharma, who was the district president of Hindu Sangharsh Sena and ran a cable TV business, was shot seven times by two unidentified young men in the Bharat Nagar area near Batala Road around 2pm. He was vocal on Hindu rights and engaged with various social works.

Amritsar police commissioner SS Srivastava said an alert has been sounded and efforts are on to identify one of the assailants, whose face was captured on CCTV camera.

A local Shiv Sena Hindustan leader Chetan Kakkar told Sharma have been getting life threats and police were informed about it but to no avail.

“This will lead to an ugly situation in the city if local authorities will continue to sit quietly. It is a shame for the police that he was attacked in broad daylight.”

The two killers, shows the footage, came out of a street and apparently abused Sharma before firing. Sharma fell to the ground when one of the two masked men — whose face cover then came off — shot him on his upper body. Sharma was rushed to a local hospital where he was declared brought dead.

Police believe two other men accompanied the killers and took them away on bikes. They were seen in footage from another camera near the spot, sources said. Senior officers, including commissioner SS Shrivastva, visited the spot. Police registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code at the sadar police station.

Meanwhile, state BJP chief and Union minister Vijay Sampla condemned the incident. “Apart from the killing of an Akali sarpanch Manpreet Kaur’s husband Harkirat Singh in Sangrur, this killing the same day paints the picture of deteriorating law and order in Punjab,” said Sampla. Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal also condemned the killing.

Police said that apart from being a Hindu Suraksha Samiti leader, Vipin Kumar Sharma also dedicated time to Jai Shanker Welfare Society that worked towards feeding the poor.

The horrific incident took place while two other murders of RSS leaders are being investigated by CBI and NIA respectively.

The murders of RSS and Hindu leaders in Punjab seems to be a conspiracy to disrupt peace in the state. There also has been allegations of delayed action from Punjab police and administration.

Besides these murders, matriarch of the Namdhari sect, two followers of Dera Sacha Sauda and a Christian pastor have also been shot dead in the past two years.

According to India Today reporters+ Manjeet Saigal and Sandeep Gaurav, these attacks may be designed by the hard liner Sikh groups and Khalistanis to create a Hindu-Sikh divide as before the situations of terror prevailed in early 1980s in Punjab.

In the last month seven Babbar Khalsa terrorists were arrested from Ludhiana and from them police got a clue which revealed the ugly design of the Pak linked Sikh terror groups to kill Hindu leaders for making a severe unrest in the state.
