Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Jan 22, 2018:: The crisis before release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film “Padmaavat” on January 25th is growing day by day.

As the producer knocked the door of the apex court seeing the ban in some BJP ruled states like Gujarat, Madhya Paradesh, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh, the Supreme Court allowed the release of the movie on the merit of CBFC certification.

But the agitating Rajput Karni Sena set a climax of the opposition to the film “Padmaavat” in a very tough way in Gujarat and Delhi through road blocked, stone pelting, burning the buses etc since last two days.

Assuming a serious law and order problems in the states,  the Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh Govt have moved to Supreme Court+ to stay on its earlier order in order to ban the release of “Padmavaat” in the respective states.

Seeing the troubles in connection of the film connected to an alleged ‘humiliation of Rajput Pride and the Dignity of Chittor Queen Padmini’, the Gujarat Multiplex Owners decided not to screen ‘Padmaavat’ in Gujarat+. The same news are coming from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Assam also.

The infuriated Karni Sena members went extreme in their protests in Gujarat+ and Delhi+ to make pressure on the authorities to ban Padmavaat without any other exception.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad has also taken the issue as serious concern for Hindutva sentiment and the organisation’s international president Dr Togadia urged the people to protest against the film through his social media platform at facebook. Togadia urged, ” जय श्री राम ।। सभी देशवासियों को सादर नमस्कार ।। आइए सब मिलकर ‘पद्मावती ‘ फिल्म का पुरजोर विरोध करे ।।”

As per Amar Ujala news source+, VHP called a nationwide protest on Tuesday (Jan 23, 2018) against the Release of ‘Padmaavat’.

Experts opine that the protesting force against Bhansali’s film in an “PADMAAVAT” intrigue, will  make a show down the anti-Hindu film makers in India for ever.
