Muslim male assaulted for ‘love jihad’ friendship with Hindu girl in MP.

Muslim guy posing as Hindu, assaulted for ‘love jihad’ tangle with a Hindu girl in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. 

Surabhi Desai | HENB | Ujjain | March 25, 2023:: Activists of  Bajrang Dal allegedly assaulted a Muslim guy with a mild tone, who was making love with his Hindu girlfriend at a corner of a park in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. The members of the Hindutva outfit accused the Muslim boy of promoting ‘Love Jihad’ by taking a Hindu name Rahul, while the Muslim was identified as Akhter Rehmani.

A video has gone viral on social media platforms where the Bajrang Dal members can be seen questioning the young man while the girl pleads with them to let go. The incident happened on Friday late afternoon.

Speaking to reporters, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Madhav Nagar police station said that the girl refused to file any police complaint. “The girl refused to lodge an FIR as she stated they were friends. We have informed her family members who took her away later,” the SHO said.

The Muslim guy was taken into police custody while the attackers were let off.

‘Love Jihad’ is a dangerous situation in India in which Muslim boys/men convert Hindu girls/women by luring them under the pretext of love and marriage. In recent, hundreds of Hindu girls were victimized in the love Jihad truce and even killed by their Muslim lovers in dozens of cuts like the Shraddha Walker case or others.

While speaking to HENB, local Bajrang Dal leader Tridev Gupta conveyed,  “Many Hindu girls do not know the dire consequence of Love Jihad. But, we cannot let them in the grab of Love Jihadists anyway in any manner'”.
