In the press meet, it is told, the Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh, the dress code has been implemented in 131 temples in Maharashtra, after which many States such as Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh have demanded the establishment of a Temple Mahasangh. With the opening of Mahasangha in those states, the organisation will enforce the dress code in over 1,000 temples to preserve Hindu culture and tradition.  It is also said that, after the movie ‘The Kerala Story’, many cases showing the horrors of Love Jihad are coming to light across the country. At such a time, as there is a need to create greater awareness among Hindu girls and their parents. A campaign against Love Jihad will be conducted throughout the year. Besides, for the purpose of establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’, a ‘Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committees’ will be established across the country by uniting Hindu organisations at the District, State and National levels to speed up the activities of Hindu Rashtra. This information was given by Sadguru (Dr) Charudatta Pingale (National Guide, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) at the closing press conference of the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav.

H.H. Swami Chittaranjan Maharaj (Shanti Kali Ashram, Amarpur, Tripura), Mr Jayesh Thali (Secretary of ‘Gomantak Mandir Mahasangh), Mr Ramesh Shinde (National Spokesperson, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti) and Mr Neeraj Atri (President, Vivekananda Karya Samiti, Panchakula, Haryana) were also present in the press conference.

(Dr) Charudatta Pingale further added, ‘All have resolved that during the 2024 Parliamentary elections only those Political Parties and MPs will get the support who promise to work for the welfare of Hindus based on the policy of ‘Jo Hindu hit ki kewal baat nahi, to jo Hindu hit ka karye kerega (Those who will not merely speak but also act for the welfare of Hindus)’.

To bring awareness in the society about the establishing the ‘Hindu Rashtra’ it has been decided in the Convention to carry out a common programs such as awareness meetings and agitations regarding ‘Love Jihad’ and ‘Halal Jihad’; various activities such as ‘Hindu Rashtra Coordinating Committee meetings’, ‘Hindu Rashtra Convention’, ‘Enlightenment Meeting in Temples’, ‘State Level Temples Conventions’ during the coming year.

At the time, the secretary of Gomantak Mandir Mahasangh Mr Jayesh Thali said that temple trustees from all over the country participated in this Convention. It has been decided to organise State-level temple Conventions in the states of Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi for protection of temples from takeover by Government and encroachment on the temple land. Through this campaign, efforts will be made to implement dress code in 1000 temples. Also, to maintain the sanctity of the temples, ‘Temple Area Alcohol-Meat Free Campaign’ will be implemented.

H.H. Swami Chittaranjan Maharaj (Shanti Kali Ashram, Amarpur, Tripura), said that conversion of Hindus is a big problem across the country especially in North Eastern states. Veer Savarkar had said that ‘Religious conversion is change of nationality’. We are experiencing it in the form of violence in Manipur. Strict anti-conversion laws are urgently needed to prevent such incidents from happening in other States. Also, centres should be set up in rural areas to provide education on Dharma to Hindus.

Mr Neeraj Atri (President, Vivekananda Karya Samiti, Panchakula, Haryana) said that the statements made to protect the Nation and to awaken Hindus are being declared as ‘hate-speech’ and unilateral action is being taken against Hindus. Advocates from all over the country have also discussed how to fight legally in this regard. A firm determination was made to continue the work of awakening the Hindus even more vigorously without succumbing to pressures that would restrict freedom of expression.

Resolutions passed in the Vaishvik Hindu Rashtra Mahotsav

1. To do justice to the majority of Hindus in India, the words ‘Secular’ and ‘Socialist’ should be deleted from the Constitution and the words ‘Spiritual’ should be inserted there and India should be declared a ‘Hindu Rashtra’.

2. The Convention fully supports the demand of Hindus in Nepal that Nepal should be declared ‘Hindu Rashtra’.

3. Many Hindu girls across the country such as Shraddha Walker, Sakshi, Anupama have been victims of Love Jihad and brutally murdered. As a solution to this problem, strict ‘Anti-Love Jihad Law’ should be made at the National level, so also thousands of girls and women are disappearing from every State every year. We should find out if there is any conspiracy behind this disappearance and find a permanent solution.

4. The ‘Places of Worship Act 1991’ and the ‘Waqf’ Act, which violates the fundamental rights of Hindus, should be immediately repealed and thousands of temples and lands seized by Mughal invaders such as Kashi, Mathura, Taj Mahal, Bhojshala, and so on should be handed over to Hindus.

5. Takeover of all the temples by the Government should be cancelled and they should be handed over to the devotees, and a ‘Hindu Board’ should be established for the temples, comprising Shankaracharyas, Dharmacharyas, devotees, priests, and judges and advocates who are devout followers of Dharma.

6. The Union Government should pass laws banning cattle slaughter and religious conversion throughout the country.

7. Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind, an organization that provides legal aid to over 700 terrorists, has recently been granted permission by the Union Government to issue Halal meat certification. That permission should be revoked immediately. So also, when Government agencies like FSSAI and FDA already exist in India, the Halal Certification that creates a parallel economy on religious grounds should be banned immediately.

8. To create a Union Territory of Panun Kashmir in the Kashmir Valley and resettle the displaced Kashmiri Hindus there.

9. The atrocities against Hindus in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka should be investigated by the International Human Rights Commission and the Government of India to provide security to the minority Hindus there.

10. Government should make a strict law to deport Rohingya and Bangladeshi Muslims who have infiltrated into India. C.A.A. (The Citizenship Amendment Act) should be implemented immediately.

11. In view of the explosion of non-Hindus population in the last few years, a ‘Population Control Act’ should be immediately implemented in the country to balance the population of all religions.

12. In view of the attacks on Hindus in Manipur, the Union Government should take strict steps for their safety and provide permanent security to Hindus.
