Muslim Shop owner in coastal Karnataka sets Hindu labourer on fire leading to death, arrested.

Tausif Hussain allegedly set Gajnana, the labourer, on fire and then tried to misrepresent it as an electrocution. It is difficult to known whether Tausif was inspired by the Quranic verses like:  4:56: ‘Those who reject (Kafaru) our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire’ or 5:86: ‘But those who reject Faith (Kafaru) and belie our Signs, – they shall be companions of Hell-fire’.

B  Upendran | HENB | Mangaluru | July 9, 2023:: A 32-year-old Muslim grocery shop owner has been arrested from Mulihithlu here on charges of murdering his Hindu labourer by setting him on fire and later passing it off as an electrocution, police said.

Mangaluru South police arrested the accused, Tausif Hussain, on Saturday based on evidence after questioning local residents in the vicinity, city police commissioner Kuldeep Kumar R Jain said.

The man allegedly set Gajnana, the labourer, on fire and then tried to misrepresent it as an electrocution.

The modus operandi behind the murder is not clear.  It is difficult to known whether Tausif was inspired by the Quranic verses like:  4:56: ‘Those who reject (Kafaru) our Signs, We shall soon cast into the Fire’ or 5:86: ‘But those who reject Faith (Kafaru) and belie our Signs, – they shall be companions of Hell-fire’.

Police said the accused allegedly killed Gajnana over a minor dispute by setting him on fire. To cover up the crime, he falsely informed the people in the area that Gajnana had been electrocuted and was taken to a hospital for treatment, where the doctors pronounced him dead.

After preliminary investigation, police confirmed the incident to be a murder and the accused was arrested.

A case has been registered and further investigation is on, police said.

Though the Quran mentioned hellfire for the non-believers (Kaffirs) in Dozakh (Islamic hell), many tyrant Islamic rulers tried to set up hellfire in this world as a punishment to the kaffirs. The Mughal Emperor Jahangir ordered that Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the fifth Sikh Guru be tortured and put on fire for his death in 1606 AD.

In 1193 AD,  a marauding army of Turks under Bakthiyar Khilji ransacked and looted Nalanda. Thousands of monks were burnt alive and thousands more were beheaded. Then the great Nalanda university library was put on fire and its massive 9 million collection of books and manuscripts continued to burn for three months.

Now, the fire and smoke in France could not be doused even in France where the peace and harmony have been shattered grossly.

They love fire to kill others.

But, one thing must be mentioned here. The attacks on Hindus have increased in Karnataka after Congress came to power as ruling party.
