‘Reestablishing Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir,’ says BJP; Not Rishi Kashyapa or Devi Sharada.

Prone to Islam more than Hindutva…

‘Reestablishing Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir,’ says BJP; deletes the tweet later. But never they tweeted Kashmir as the land of Kashyapa.

Aditya  Suresh Bharti | HENB | Jammu | July 27, 2023:: It is expected that BJP will at least ensure demographic balance in Jammu and Kashmir and reclaim the land of Rishi Kashyap as an ancient land of Sanatan Bharta and Hindus. But, it is the vacuum in the thought lines in BJP for which the party is engaged to woo the Muslims to stay in power even at the cost of removing the Hindu history of Kashmir. Most unfortunate indeed.   

Extremely ,,,,,  that BJP had a plan to make sure Kashmir as an Islamic land of Sufi Muslims in a mode of ‘reestablishing  Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir’. These BJP pundits did not care that the Sufi cult had its nefarious role for the conversion of millions of Hindus to Islam. Sufism acted as the pioneer of Islamic establishments here and Sufi saints like Khwaja Mainuddin Chisti of Ajmer Sharif with other Sufi warriors played a vital role to establish  Islamic rule in India. That is not an exception in Kashmir also. 

The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) recently said that the party is ready for ‘reestablishing Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir’.

In a now -deleted tweet, BJP Jammu & Kashmir shared an infographic with photo of PM Modi and said, “Reestablishing Sufism in Jammu and Kashmir”.

In the infographic, the party claimed that ‘Sufism is the true spirit of J&K’.

“The laying of the foundation stone for a new utility complex and main gate at the Charar-e-Sharief shrine by Minister of State and Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board Dr Darakhshan Andrabi is a sign of revival of Sufism in Kashmir,” the infographic reads.

“The transformation of the Waqf Management has restored Sufism in J&K, which had been suppressed by anti-spiritual campaigns during decades of violence,” the infographic further reads.

Panun Kashmir leader and expert of Kashmir Hindu heritage, Sushil Pandit shared his opinion to HENB that, “Native to Kashmir are Agamas, Shaivism, Sharada Peeth, Lalleshwari, Martand, Sharada Script, Vajrayana, Kashmiri & Sanskrit and the knowledge traditions that nourished the civilization of Ma Bharati! Sufism is an implant that hated the natives and nourished jihad to destroy us all“

Of late, the BJP Jammu & Kashmir Unit has now deleted the tweet of July 21, 2023 (12.19 pm) as many protests from Hindus to condemn the view of the party as such. The tweet earned 95.2k views.

In the tweet BJP claimed, “Sufism- The true Spirt of J&K”…. not the Rishi Kashyapa or Sharada Culture of Kashmir.

Ignoring Hindu roots in Kashmir will be fatal for BJP.
