Former Hamas chief Khaled Mashal’s online speech supporting Jihad in a Jamaat e Islami Hind Youth rally sets off row in Kerala.

‘Bulldoze Hindutva, uproot Zionism’ slogans raised in a rally of youth wing of Jamaat e Islami Hind in Kerala’s Malappuram, where Former Hamas chief  Khaled Mashal addressed virtually to gain support in favour of Hamas terrorism.  

B Upendran | HENB | Thiruvananthapuram | Oct 28, 2023:: Infamous Palestinian leader and former Hamas chief Khaled Mashal addressed online a rally taken out by the Solidarity Youth Movement expressing support for the Palestinian people in Kerala’s Malappuram on October 27. The live video address by the former Hamas chief triggered a controversy with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president K. Surendran calling for legal action against the organisers. BJP also blamed Kerala police for not taking action.

In a video, the Hamas leader Khaled Mashal was seen addressing the Muslim gathering in Mallapuran in a very provocative way under somewhat a state indulgence to allow subversive Jihadi elements  and Islamic communalism in Kerala. The Muslim gathering was arranged by the the youth wing of Jamaat e Islami Hind, as reported.

The war is in force in the next level between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza strip, but the supporters of Hamas and Palestine in India are planning to ‘bulldoze Hindutva’ as their default mentality so persists against Kaffir Hindus without any change.

Mashal’s virtual address at the rally was hugely condemned in various social media platforms and Kerala BJP vehemently.

Taking to X, Surendran said, “Hamas leader Khaled Mashel’s virtual address at the Solidarity event in Malappuram is alarming. Where’s Pinarayi Vijayan’s Kerala Police ? Under the guise of ‘Save Palestine,’ they’re glorifying Hamas, a terrorist organization, and its leaders as ‘warriors.’ This is unacceptable!”

Meanwhile, on Friday, the BJP unit in Kerala criticised Congress Working Committee (CWC) member and Lok Sabha MP Shashi Tharoor for his participation in the Indian Union Muslim League’s rally supporting Palestine, labelling it a “pro-Hamas” event. But, the statement of Tharoor was not accepted by the IMUL and he is now  dropped from another event in Thiruvananthapuram as arranged on Oct 30  to pro-Palestine meet amid his Hamas remarks row

A day after tens of thousands of IUML supporters hit the streets of Kozhikode, expressing solidarity with the people of war-ravaged Palestine, BJP state president K Surendran expressed concern that the conflict was being used to fuel communal tensions in the state.

The IUML rally in Kozhikode was “pro-Hamas,” and anti-national slogans had been raised throughout the programme, he alleged in a press conference.

The BJP leader also alleged that Tharoor’s participation in the rally, given his previous role as a UN diplomat, goes against the country’s established stance on the issue.

As the United States has already announced Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Iranian Bonyad Shahid (i.e. Martyrs Foundation),Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) and Al-Ansar Charity Association as deadly terrorists organizations, that should be maintained in India by the Modi Government also and any activities in support of these terrorist organisations must be prohibited and penalized forthwith.
