Silver Jubilee of Vatsalya Vatika in Haridwar marked a success of VHP to reach people with devotion and service. 

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Haridwar | Oct 29, 2023:: A grand function was held on the second day of the Silver Jubilee celebrations to mark the completion of 25 years of establishment of Vatsalya Vatika, a service project of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). The top leaders of VHP from across the country including Sadhvi Ritambhara, noted Ram Janmabhoomi Movement leader; Milind Parande, General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad;  Acharya Balakrishna, General Secretary of Patanjali Yogpeeth Trust have gathered in this. The  speakers and dignitaries  tried to inspire people for the regeneration of  Hinduism, Hindutva and Sanatan Dharma.

Seva is the best way to reach the people

In the event, Milind Parande said that it is the best thing to work for the upliftment of the society, because this will lead to the upliftment of the country. He said that India will become world master. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has also resolved to uplift the entire society. For its fulfillment, more than five thousand service works are being carried out across the country today. At present, the plan of providing more service (Seva) than taking service should be there and such effort should also be made to reach the people in a best and effective way. India suffered 1000 years of political slavery due to which the general public lacked national character which must be built through a participatory mode involving various ‘seva karya’ (service projects).

Call to lit five Diyas ( oil lamps)

Milind Parande, Union General Secretary of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, said that under the guidance of revered saints, Shri Ram temple is being constructed. Vishwa Hindu Parishad has been formed for this responsibility. On January 22, 2024, the day of the Prana Pratishta of Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, all the people of the country will attend their nearest temples and chant the Vijay Mahamantra (Shri Ram Jaya Rama Jaya Jaya Rama) . At least five lamps must be lit in their homes on that day. This call has also been made by Vishwa Hindu Parishad earlier. No one in the country dares to break a temple anymore. The Vishwa Hindu Parishad invites all the Hindu community to come to Ayodhya and visit the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple.

3-month programme with akshat invite

Before and  after the “prana prathistha” (consecration) of the Lord Ram idol at the Ram temple in Ayodhya in January next year, VHP has prepared an extensive three-month programme to first reach out to temples and villages across the country with “akshat invitation” from Ram Lalla, asking them to celebrate the consecration and then organise region-wise visits to the newly constructed temple after consecration from different parts of the country between January 26 and February 22. “Akshat” is rice mixed with turmeric or kumkum for Puja rituals.

Later, after the consecration ceremony (Prana Pratistha) in January 22, a date would be allotted to all 45  organization regions in the country between January 26 and February 22 to visit and offer prayers at the temple in groups and arrangement for their stay would be made in Ayodhya, sources in the VHP said.

From January 1 to January 15, Akshat would be taken to local temples along with an invitation in the local language and workers would take this ‘Akshat’ to house-holds extending invitation on behalf of Ram Lalla.

Sadhvi inspired all with a note of fulfilment

Sadhvi Ritambhara, who established her identity as an eloquent speaker from the Ram Mandir movement, addressed the gathering in her own style at the Vatsalya Vatika ceremony. He told the people associated with the service project are now linked with his sadhana with ‘vatsalya tree’ which has come to fruition today. He recited the poem of ‘Mandir wahin Banaenge’ from the stage. She said, today 500 years of struggle and sacrifice of Hindu society is going to be fruitful in the form of Shriram Mandir. She said that the Hindu society was full of hope in the Shriram Mandir Nirman Samarpan Nidhi campaign that they would now have the privilege of seeing God.

Ashok Singhal’s great personality is reflected in Vatika: Acharya Balakrishna

Remembering Ashok Singhal, the stalwart of Ramjanmabhoomi Temple movement,  Acharya Balakrishna said that service projects like Vatsalya Vatika are a real vision of the cooperative character of the society. He said that Ashok Singhal’s great personality, sense of service to society, dedication, devotion to religion is reflected in Vatsalya Vatika. A person should give sanskar to his children not wealth. ‘Today,  the conspiracies to suppress and crush Indian culture in the name of (anti-Hindu) religions will not succeed’, Acharya Balakrishna said.

VHP will operate 25 new service projects

On the occasion of Vatsalya Vatika Silver Jubilee celebrations Leelaram Gupta, Treasurer of Seva Project presented the report. He said, “Vatsalya Vatika has aimed to start 25 new service projects including  mobile medical vehicles, development of the area through skill development center, Sanskarshala, Sanskrit Vidyalaya in the coming time”. A  souvenir named ‘Vatsalya Prasun” was released jointly by Milind Parande, Sadhvi Ritambhara, Acharya Balakrishna, Mahamandaleshwar Surendranand.
