Gyanvapi Row: ASI could not submit survey report to the court due to High BP of its Superintendent.

ASI again has sought one week to file its Gyanvapi scientific survey report to Court as its Superintend fallen sick due to High Blood Pressure. 

Upendra Bharati | HENB | Varanasi | Dec 12, 2023:: Again the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has failed to submit its Gyanvapi scientific survey report to the Court in timely manner  as the  district judge Ajaya Krishna Vishvesha passed the order earlier to submit the same within Dec 11 as per  his direction given on  Nov 30.

This time, ASI has sought one week to file its report because the ASI superintendent is suffering from high blood pressure. The lawyer of Hindu side Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain expected  the report  in the next week.

The repeated delay and seeking dates after dates  by ASI for  submitting the Gyanvapi Survey report to the Court are creating a repercussion in the public mind as Hindus are restrained from their rights of worship Shringar Gauri and other deities inside Gyanvapi complex.

While Hindus have been demanding their worship rights inside the Gyanvapi complex upon visible evidences on being it a Hindu temple, the Anjuman Intejamia Masjid (AIM) Committee has challenged the Hindu sides not to worship there as the Mosques was built by the fanatic Mughal ruler Aurangzeb destroying an old  Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Between the opposite claims the Court ordered the ASI Scientific survey to reveal the truth of Gyanvapi for being a Shiva Temple destroyed according to the order of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in Sept, 1669 which was mentioned in Maasir-i-Alamgiri, an account of Aurangzeb’s rule written by Saqi Mustaid Khan.

On behalf of Hindu side, Advocated Vishnu Shankar Jain told HENB, ” The truth of Gyanvapi will be revealed soon after placing the ASI survey reports to the Hon’ble Court and the decision of the Court in the related matters’.
