Upendra Bharti | HENB | Mathura | Dec 15, 2023:: It’s a big news for the Hindus to reclaim the Mathura Krishna Janmabhoomi in the line of Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi and Vranasi Adi Vishwanath and Shringar Gauri at Gyanvapi.

After the Allahabad High Court  approved a survey of the Shahi Idgah Mosque in Mathura , Vishnu Shankar Jain, the lawyer for the Hindu side, called the decision a landmark judgment as pronounced by the Court on Thursday, Dec 14, 2023.

He said that the modalities for the survey would be decided on December 18. The survey is expected to be  conducted in the same manner in which it has been done at the Gyanvapi Temple.

Vishnu Shankar Jain, the lawyer for the Hindu side, said, “Allahabad HC has allowed our application where we had demanded a survey of Shahi Idgah Masjid  by the advocate commissioner. The modalities will be decided on December 18. The court has rejected the arguments of Shahi Idgah Masjid committee. My demand was that in Shahi Idgah Masjid, there are a lot of signs and symbols of the Hindu temple, and to know the actual position, an advocate commissioner is required. It’s a landmark judgement by the court”.

In a groundbreaking decision, the Allahabad High Court  on Thursday approved the conduct of a scientific survey on the Shahi Idgah complex at Mathura.

The court on Thursday appointed a three-member team of advocate commissioners and gave in-principle approval for surveying the Shahi Idgah complex. The modalities of the Commission of advocates for the survey will be decided on December 18.

Earlier, Advocate Ranjana Agnihotri, a resident of Lucknow had filed a suit demanding the ownership of 13.37 acres of land of Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi . In her legal suit, Agnihotri demanded to remove the Shahi Idgah mosque built in Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi.

The suit filed in the Mathura court has sought the removal of a mosque said to have been built in 1669-70 on the orders of the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the 13.37-acre premises of Katra Keshav Dev temple near the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

The Hindu side claims that the Idgah mosque was constructed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb by demolishing a temple on 13.37 acres of Lord Krishna’s birthplace. This original suit is pending before the High Court.

As many as 17 suits are pending in the High Court, with the main pleas seeking a declaration that the land under dispute –where the Shahi Eidgah Mosque is situated–vests in the deity Lord Shri Krishna Virajman. Additionally, they seek a direction for the defendant to remove the mosque.

As the Idgah Mosque Committee and Sunni Central Wakf Board approached the Supreme Court today to get a stay on the Allahabad HC order on Court commissioned Survey, the apex court refused ton give any stay as such.

News agency ABP News  reports: The Supreme Court on Friday refused to stay Allahabad High Court’s December 14 order which allowed the primary survey of the Shahi Idgah complex adjacent to the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura by a court-monitored three-member team of advocate commissioners.

Lawyer for the Hindu side, Vishnu Shankar Jain said that the top court has fixed the hearing of matter relating to the transfer order on January 9, 2024.
