Kuldeep Kumar Singh | HENB | Rae Bareli | March 1, 2024:: The case of  Gharwapsi (homecoming) of Mantasha, a Muslim girl from Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh, has come to light. Due to her faith in Sanatan Dharma and its customs, Mantasha returned home to Sanatan Dharma.

What is the whole matter

According to the report, this incident is being reported from Salon Kotwali of Rae Bareli district. Hindu and Muslim families live in this area. Mantasha is also from the locality. She was in love with Ashish Maurya, a Hindu youth living in her neighbourhood. Actually, both played and grew up together since childhood. Later, a  friendship also developed between the two. Time passed away and both of them fell in love with each other. When Mantasha’s family came to know that she belonged to a Muslim community and the boy was a Hindu, they became hesitant.

The biggest hindrance in the union of Mantasha and Ashish was their religion. That’s why at first Mantasha tried to convince her family, but when things didn’t work out, she decided to marry her Hindu lover leaving her religion. After this, both of them went to a Hanuman temple located in the area and got married with Hanumanji as the witness. Before that, Mantasha Islam returned home to  Sanatan Hindu Dharma and changed her name to Mansi. After marriage, her name was linked to her husband’s name and she became Mansi Maurya.

I am fond of Sanatan Dharma
