Upendra Bharti | HENB | Ahmadabad | March 18, 2024:: In a very concerning incident, some Muslim students of foreign countries at Gujarat  University in Ahmadabad alleged they were attacked by a mob for offering Ramzan Taraweeh prayers at their hostel on Saturday night. Videos of the attack have been circulated on social media, triggering outrage.

But, the fundamental students were engaged to make a permanent Namaz place outside their hostel by offering special post-evening Namaj before Taraweeh session. Coming from outside with a study visa, the fanatic students tried to proliferate Islam exceeding their role of studentship.

While Ramadan is believed as  a prohibited month for violence, Muslim mobs are found in a mood to attack others all around.

It is reported that the Gujarat University student clash started after a Muslim Namazi of Afghan origin slapped a Hindu youth. On questioning why they were offering Namaz in the open on hostel ground, one foreign student stood up and hit the Hindu youth. The clash between hostel groups did not start in a silo.

Five students were injured in the attack that happened at the ‘A’ block of the hostel of the public state university, according to reports. The injured students were reportedly admitted to the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Hospital.

The anti-Hindu media jumped into the scene to blame the Hindu students and the family members of hostel employees for hiding the Islamic aggravation inside the Gujarat University. The students coming from outside are also engaged to establish the Islamic might inside the university making the educational periphery as a communal hot spot.

The pro-Islamic  gents like Mohammed Zubair of alt News or Assaduddin Owaisi of AIMIM put many videos in their X handke showing the mob vandalising hostel property by throwing stones at the students’ room and attacking their vehicles. They wanted to raise a global Islamic sentiment by saying, “The international students, mostly from Africa and Central Asia, said they were assaulted over offering Taraweer prayers at a hostel room. During the month of Ramzan, Taraweeh prayers are special prayers that are voluntarily performed by Muslims. They are offered at night, usually after the obligatory Isha (night) prayer”. But, they shamefully suppressed the actual reason for such a brawl.

The communal godfather of fanatic Muslims in India, Assaduddin Owaisi tried to fan the communal flame by saying, “What a shame. When your devotion & religious slogans only come out when Muslims peacefully practice their religion. When you become unexplainably angry at the mere sight of Muslims.” But, he has forgotten to ponder why the Muslims came outside their Mosques, hostel-rooms, homes to offer prayer! Public understands that reason to increase the numbers of Mosques and Namaj places everywhere to establish Islamic strength all around.

The police arrived at the scene and took control over the situation. Afterwards they registered an FIR, as sources said.

Hindu students of the University and local people vehemently opposed the Namaz in open space and demanded to rusticate the arrogant student Afghani Mohammad Haroon and to raze all illegal construction if silently made for illegal Namaz inside the Gujarat University premises in Ahmadabad.
