Controversy at  GD Goenka Toddler House, Gandhidham  after study material states ‘we can eat cow meat’.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | March 21, 2024:: In the BJP ruled state Gujarat, Hindu toddlers are being taught against Sanatan faith in the very Gandhidham which is named after M K Gandhi who  thought. ‘Cow protection is the first duty in independent India’.

Britishers went way, but their Macaulaian education policy  to demoralise the Hindu students through ‘anti-Hindu’ preaching in school curriculum is still on progress in the Missionary and Private schools everywhere in India including the states run by BJP.

Huge controversy occurred at GD Goenka Toddler House in Gandhidham town after a page from its educational material stating “we can eat its (cow’s) meat” went viral. Following this, some parents protested against such material, to which the preschool clarified that it was not meant to offend anyone’s sentiments.

A page in question went viral in the social media which depicted a caricature of a cow along with its physical attributes, dietary habits, and sounds. One particular line stated, “We can eat its meat.” The school has however explained in a lame excuse that this material was sourced from Pinterest, an image-sharing platform, with the intention of discouraging meat consumption, rather than targeting any specific community’s beliefs.

The closely BJP connected authority of the controversial school had no points either to save their face after hurting Hindu sentiments in such a shameful way. The Montessari school runs UKG, LKG and day-care.

After protests by parents on Monday, the GD Goenka Toddler House issued a clarification stating that the line “we can eat its (cow’s) meat’ in the study materials, the district primary education department started an enquiry.

BM Vaghela, the district primary education officer, stated that while the preschool is not under their jurisdiction, he instructed his subordinates to investigate the complaint, record statements from school authorities and parents, and ascertain if any trustee or teacher made controversial remarks.

Shamefully, the school principal, Anchal Nankani, told the media that the line regarding eating cow meat was being used to teach children that one should not eat any animal, particularly cows, which are revered and worshipped. But, this was just a lame excuse that the set study materials had not no option to promote any vegetarianism or to discard beef eating.

The agitated parents and guardians of the school children  demanded immediate expulsion of the principal of GD Goenka Toddler House.
