Don’t commit sin of 1000 cow slaughter by voting the parties supporting it: Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati.

Declare GoMata as RashtraMata: Jyotirmath Shankaracharya  Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati urges political parties to pledge against cow slaughter ahead of LS polls.

But, out of 2600 political parties as registered at the end of Election Commission, only 53 parties have give consent for that. Accordingly, Shankaracharya advised the Hindus to vote for Bhai parties, not to Kasai parties. 

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | March 29, 2024::  Highlighting it as a paramount concern in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2024, the revered spiritual leader Jyotirmath Shankaracharya  Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati emphasised the urgent need to make a total ban on cow slaughter in India.

He urged the all political parties to bestow upon the cow the esteemed title of “Mother of the Nation,” thereby enabling recognition by the new central government. He stressed that failure to halt cow slaughter would lead to the non-recognition of supporters of such practices as Hindus. In a press conference in New Delhi the revered spiritual leader declared that Hindus should not accept sin of 1000 cow slaughter by voting the candidates of such parties supporting it. He also said,  unfortunately no parties in the central power in the past or present tried to ban cow slaughter in India.

On March 28, Swami Avimukteshwaranand visited the place between old and new parliament houses in Delhi where the then Prime Minister caused a Hindu Massacre on 7th Nov 1966 Gopastami by firing bullets on assembled saints and supporters demanding ban on cow slaughter. Before that the Jyotirmath pontiff travelled bare foot  from Virndavan Govardhan Hill to reach Delhi for creating public awareness for cow protection as Go Pratistha Sankalp Yatra in order to declare GoMata as RashtraMata (Cow as the Mother of the Nation).

In his press conference of Friday, Shankaracharya said, “We appealed all political parties to ban cow slaughter in the holi land and declare GoMata as RashtraMata. But, out of 2600 political parties as registered at the end of Election Commission, only 53 parties have give consent for that. As a Dharmacharya (teacher of dharma), I must appeal to the Hindu citizens to vote for the candidates of these parties and don’t indulge into the sin of Gohatya (cow slaughter) by voting the candidates of those parties involved in cow slaughter.”

Announcing the names of the political parties for which Hindus can vote, Swami Sri Abimukteswarananda Ji has categorically said, ” If Hindus vote for parties other than these, they will commit the sin of cow slaughter, leading to poverty, family strife, disease and death. Sure to suffer hell, all Hindus are requested not to commit the sin of voting for any party other than these 53 parties, otherwise it will be difficult to bear the consequences of this sin.”

Swami Avimukteshwaranand read out the names of all the 53 parties who have sent their affirmation to ban cow slaughter if they come to power and declare GoMata as RashtraMata. He reminded the political leaders about the afterlife as the sin of cow slaughter would not be redeemable anyway .  He also cautioned the voters not to vote those parties not supporting the cause of Cow Protection and not giving assurance of Cow slaughter Ban in their manifesto.

In an example, the Jyotirmath pontiff said, “The Ramlala (baby Ram)  in Ayodhya does not take 56 bhog (offered sacraments),  he needs drinking milk. The nation is waiting to see that day when PM Narendra Modi will declare GoMata as RashtraMata and will milking cows in a golden pot to offer the same to Ramlala.”

Before Loksabha Election 2024, Swami Avimukteshwaranand clearly divided the political parties in two categories as Go Bhakta Party – Bhai party (supporters cow protection- Brothers Party ) and another Go Hatyare party – Kasai party  (supporters of cow killing -Butchers Party ). Accordingly, he advised to voters to the papmukt (free from sin) to make a Papmukt Bharat from sinful cow slaughter.

Swami Avimukteshwaranand also declared that Hindus in cores will gherao the parliament house when the next Govt will be formed if the next govt will not take step to ban on cow slaughter as its first and foremost duty.
