Ukrainian woman, influenced by Indian culture, adopted Hinduism, became Karaneshwari from Maria.

Sobhita Tiwari | HENB | Gurugram | April 25, 2024::  Influenced by Indian culture, a Ukrainian Christian woman converted to Hinduism. Baba Jahargiri Ashram spokesperson Suresh Saini said that a woman named Maria from Ukraine, influenced by Indian culture and Ayurveda, reached Baba Jahargiri Ashram located at Haluwas Gate (Haryana) on Monday and took initiation into Hindu religion. She was named Karaneshwari after the Mahant ( the head of the ashram), Dr. Ashoka Giri Maharaj’s disciple Mahamandaleshwar Sangam Giri Maharaj initiated her into Hinduism.

With the aim of propagating Sanatan culture, Mahamandaleshwar has made many of his disciples in eight countries including Germany, England, Ukraine. Mahamandaleshwar Sangam Giri Maharaj told that Maria came to India in the year 2016. During that time she was doing research on Ayurveda. Maria stayed in India for about four months during the Corona period and continued her research on Ayurveda here. Maria, influenced by Indian culture and Ayurveda system, decided to adopt Hinduism.

The head of the ashram, Mahant Dr. Ashok Giri told that Karneshwari has two sons and a daughter. He will also come to the ashram after a few months and take initiation into Hinduism. On this occasion, Karaneshwari, who adopted Hindu religion, said that under the guidance of her Guru Sangam Giri, she got a chance to know the greatness of Sanatan Dharma and Culture closely. She said that if she goes to her country Ukraine, she will make the people there aware of the greatness of Indian culture.

Talking to HENB, Karneshwari urged a world peace through the exploration of Sanatan Hindu culture and to stop Russia-Ukraine war.
