While campaigning in the state’s Kullu, she said, “… Our ancestors saw the slavery of the Mughals, then the slavery of British and then the misrule of Congress, but in a true sense, we have got freedom in 2014, we have got independence. Freedom of thinking, freedom of Sanatan, freedom to make your own religion, freedom to make this country a Hindu Rashtra (Hindu-nation) … We will make a Hindu Rashtra (sic)”. The voting for four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh will take place in the final phase on June 1 and the results will be declared on June 4.

Though Kangna’s party BJP never claimed a Hindu Rashtra (Hindu-nation ) in India, she went hard on her claim sensing a strong majority sentiment could only give her an good advantage from the Hindu vote bank.

But, Kangna doubtfully knows the basics of Hindu Rashtra whether it is RSS’ Banana State of Hindu Rashtra with all anti-Hindu characteristics with all minority appeasement existing in it or  Savarkar’s Hindu Rashtra with an Cultural-Constitutional-Sovereign entity without fear or favour.

Critics say that facing an internal debate on Development envisaged as ‘Modi- ki Guarantee’ vs ‘Hindutva’ within the party, BJP lately came up with hardcore Hindutva propagation in its election campaign.

In its false promises on Hindutva issues made earlier, BJP did not give any importance on Prohibiting  Cow Slaughter, Banning Infiltration and Conversion or Rehabilitating Kashimir Pandits in the valley or Freeing Hindu Temples from Government control, whatsoever.

On the other hand, BJP under Modi government introduced many exclusive schemes for Muslims depriving the Hindus created a huge repercussion in BJP’s Hindu vote bank.

Consequently, Kangna and others including PM Modi jumped in the election campaigns with the handle of Hindutva this time.
