Road blockade by Hindutva orgs in Solapur.

Hindutva organizations staged a Rasta Roko in Solapur to protest the alleged desecration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s memorial in Hadapsar area of ​​Pune.

Upendra Bharat | HENB | Pune | June 29, 2024:: Hindutva organizations staged a Rasta Roko (road blockade) in Solapur to protest the alleged desecration of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s memorial in Hadapsar area of ​​Pune. During the protest,  it was demanded that the strict law should be enacted to punish the criminals with imprisonment for ten years to prevent the such desecration of the statues and monuments of great men.

The protest took place in the square in front of the entrance of the Solapur Krishiutpann Bazar Samiti near the outer ring road of the Mumbai-Hyderabad highway. Due to this, the traffic was disrupted for some time. Later the police intervened and stopped the protest.

Various organizations like Gorakshak Sangh, Hindu Rashtra Sena, Shri Ram Yuva Sena, Shiv Pratishthan Hindusthan and others participated in this movement including the units mainly associated with Sangh Parivar and Bajrang Dal.

Sudhakar Bahirwade of Gorakshak Sangh demanded to remove the increased Islamic encroachments on the forts of Hindu Kings. Sudhir Bhairwadi (Hindu Mahasabha), Ravi Gone (Hindurashtra Sena), Nagesh Bundy, Ambadas Gorantyal (Bajrang Dal), Purushottam Karkal (Shiva Pratishthan Hindustan), Rajkumar Patil (Shri Ram Yuva Sena) and many other Hindutva leaders participated in the protest.

The participants in the protest raised the slogans like, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Ki Jay, Sambhaji Maharaj ki Jai, Jai Bhawani, Jai Hindu Rashtra, Bharat Mata ki Jai  and Jai Shri Ram.

Hundreds of protesters were also arrested by police and released later.
