Jamaat plans Islamic Bangladesh after annihilating Hindus. 

Sankirtan Das | HENB | Kolkata | Aug 11, 2024:: The student movement in Bangladesh was’hijacked’ by fanatical pro-Islamist political parties, anti-Hindu religious organizations and hardliner anti-India sections, resulting a state of anarchy, marked by arson, lynching, looting, rape, abduction, temple desecration and severe persecution of Hindu minorities and others.

Following the ousting of Sheikh Hasina on August 5, a volatile situation began to unfold. With the formation of an interim government under Prof. Mohammad Yunus on Thursday night, fundamentalist forces have intensified their efforts to establish a Sharia-based state in Bangladesh. Jamaat and Hefazat-e-Islam activists are now openly demanding ‘Ghazwatul Hind’ – an ‘Islamic Bangladesh’ achieved through war against non-Muslims. Their vision for ‘Banglastan’ encompasses a vast territory, including Bangladesh, West Bengal, parts of Jharkhand and Bihar, Nepal’s Jhapa, Myanmar’s Rakhine and Arakan regions, and areas of North East India and the Andaman Islands. On social media platforms, they are calling for a second liberation war to achieve this goal, with Arabic and Urdu proposed as the official languages, supplanting Bengali

In a troubling development, Arabic writings are already appearing on walls and institutions in major cities across Bangladesh, including Dhaka. Furthermore, some high-ranking officials within the interim government are openly advocating for a confrontational stance against India, with some even calling for direct conflict. These actions and rhetoric suggest a deliberate attempt to impose a radical ideology and create an environment of hostility towards India.

Intelligence sources reveal that banned militant organizations in Bangladesh, including Harkat-ul-Jehadi Islami (Huji), Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), Hefazet Islam, and Jamaat-e-Islam, have been advocating for the creation of a unified Islamic state, with varying names such as Greater Bangladesh, Mughalistan, Muslimabad, and now, Banglastan. Detective inputs believe that these groups have formed an alliance, facilitated by the ISI and DGFI, to promote this agenda, indicating a coordinated effort to destabilize the region and create a radical Islamic state

Detectives have observed a surge in social media activity among a segment of Bangladeshis over the past two-three days, joined by staunch anti-India bloggers from Pakistan’s major cities, including Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore, and Quetta. Notably, released militants from JMB and Huji, as well as recent jailbreakers, have also signed up for this online movement. Across various organizations, the majority of these radical netizens advocate for a new country name and national anthem. They also question the 1971 liberation war and independence, with some even denying its significance. The list of such radicals includes professors, teachers, technicians, and non-resident Bangladeshis who had previously presented themselves as progressive individuals during Hasina’s tenure. A heated debate rages on, with 91% of respondents favouring the name ‘Islamic Banglastan’ and calling for the removal of ‘infidels’ (non-believers/kaffirs) from the country. The alternative names ‘Banglastan’ or  ‘East Pakistan’ are also being discussed

The new interim government of Bangladesh appears to be indifferent to these developments, showing little concern for the growing radicalization and anti-India sentiment spreading across the country.

After toppling a democratically elected government, Bangladesh is sliding into a Deep State, seemingly hurtling towards the establishment of a comprehensive Sharia state.
