Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | Oct 1, 2024:: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took a subtle jab at Rahul Gandhi, suggesting that as an ‘accidental Hindu’ raised in Roman culture, he cannot come to terms with the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Addressing a assembly election campaign rally in Haryana, Adityanath emphasized that after 500 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi consecrated Lord Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham on January 22, 2024, a historic event celebrated globally. However, Congress, feigning sorrow, struggles to accept this joy, underscoring the stark contrast between Ram’s culture and Roman culture.

CM Adityanath has pointed out a stark contrast between Congress and Prime Minister Modi’s approaches to resource allocation. While Congress has suggested Muslims should have first dibs on the country’s resources, Modi prioritizes the poor, marginalized, Dalits, and backward sections of society.

He also said, “Those nurtured in Ram’s culture have fought relentlessly to uphold the honour of Lord Shri Ram. But, the ‘accidental Hindu’ raised in Roman culture could not bear the sight of the enthronement of Lord Ram in Ayodhya Dham. Accidental Hindus can never truly be honest to the country and its people. Ram symbolises India. Jo Ram ka nahi, woh humare kisi kaam ka nahi (Those who do not belong to Ram are of no use to us)”.

The CM said: “Those who claim there was singing and dancing at the inauguration of the Ayodhya Ram temple should remember that their family has been dancing and singing all their lives.” He alleged that the Congress, by insulting Hindus, criticising Sanatan culture, and undermining constitutional institutions abroad, calls into question its own credibility.

“In 1526, the structure of slavery was set up by demolishing the Ram Temple. The Mughals and the British sought to erase every trace of Hindu religion and culture. Unfortunately, even the first government of independent India did not allow the nation to stand with pride. In 2014, Narendra Modi became Prime Minister. In 2017, the BJP formed the government in Uttar Pradesh. Once the double-engine government gained momentum, the 500-year-old problem was resolved in just two years. While 140 crore Indians are rejoicing, the Congress is distressed by this development,” Yogi Adityanath  claimed.

Describing Haryana as ‘veerbhoomi,’ the UP CM said that the efforts of the hardworking farmers to feed the country were commendable while soldiers from Haryana were protecting the border and giving Pakistan a tough time. He said that Mahatma Gandhi believed that the foundation of good governance in India could only be Ram Rajya. Calling Congress the problem, he said that BJP was the solution. “Congress is the mother of terrorism, extremism, and corruption in the country. Those who talk about Rome and Italy should go there. Why do they seek votes in Haryana, Hansi, and Hisar?” he said.
