Ramakant Singh | HENB | Lucknow | Oct 23, 2024:: Before the UP by-elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. During this, the two brainstormed about the preparations for the by-elections. The two talked for about two hours, which is being interpreted in many ways. It is believed that the meeting of Bhagwat-Yogi will further strengthen the agenda of hard Hindutva and cultural nationalism in UP.
On Tuesday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat came to Mathura to attend the All India Executive Meeting of the Sangh, where CM Yogi met him. There was a discussion between the two on issues ranging from UP to national issues. In which brainstorming was done on issues ranging from by-elections to the assembly elections to be held in 2027, law and order of the state, infiltration in the districts adjoining Nepal, increasing number of illegal madrasas on this side and the other side of the border.
Mathura is now focus
In the talks between the two, it was decided that after the construction of the grand Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya and the Baba Vishwanath Corridor, now the focus will be on Mathura. In such a situation, they also discussed the future script of Mathura. Obviously, in such a situation, the agenda of hard Hindutva will get more boost in the state in the coming days.
If sources are to be believed, in this meeting, there was talk about applying the formula of Haryana elections in the UP by-elections as well. In this election, the Sangh will try to increase the voters on the lines of Haryana. A plan has also been made on how to connect more and more voters with the party.
Sangh will strengthen the ground for BJP
Along with this, it has also been decided that Sangh will strengthen the ground with BJP in UP by-elections. Along with street meetings, small group meetings and better booth management, it will try to create an environment for BJP by running door-to-door campaigns, just like it was done in Haryana elections, so that BJP supporting voters can be brought to the polling booth to increase the vote percentage.
It is important that in the last Lok Sabha elections, it was alleged that Sangh’s volunteers had stayed at home, upset with the working style of BJP leaders, workers, MPs and MLAs, which caused loss to the party. But now Sangh is completely engaged in making further strategy in the by-elections to help BJP’s victory.
