Why Tajmahal is to be imprinted in BRICS currency ignoring other Hindu symbols on it?

Modi in the same way of Muslim appeasement in Congress style….

BRICS currency must contain any picture related to Hindu culture and Heritage of India, not a symbol of Mughal invaders. 

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Haridwar | Oct 24, 2024:: Prime Minister Modi expressed strong support for trading in local currencies and seamless cross-border payments at the recent BRICS summit. During the 16th BRICS summit’s open plenary session, PM Modi emphasized, “We welcome efforts to enhance financial integration among BRICS nations. Trading in local currencies and efficient cross-border transactions will fortify our economic collaboration”.

This move aims to bolster economic ties among BRICS countries, which include Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. By promoting local currency trade and streamlined payments, PM Modi hopes to reduce dependence on the US dollar and foster greater financial cooperation within the bloc. More than a dozen countries including Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE supportive of BRICS are expected to adopt the proposed new currency, further expanding its reach and influence. Argentina, Kazakhstan, Nigeria, Senegal, Bangladesh, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Bolivia and Venezuela are also likely to accept the BRICS currency in their trade and business.

The proposed BRICS currency has indeed sparked controversy among Hindutva nationalists in India, with some valid concerns. One of the primary issues is the potential dominance of the Chinese yuan in the currency basket, which could impact India’s economic sovereignty. This concern stems from the fact that the BRICS currency would be a notional currency, derived from the value of all currencies in the basket, potentially giving China significant influence.

The other concern is about the design of BRICS Bank Note with the pictures of the cultural significance and identity of the related countries. The proposed BRICS Bank Note so far surfaced in the media accommodates the pictures of  Jesus,Orthodox Christian Church & Chinese Dragon etc.  It also reflects the picture of Tajmahal of India ignoring the symbols of OM ॐ, Ashoka Chakra, Kamdhenu (Mother Cow), Kautilya-Chanakya, Konark Sun Temple, Madurai Meenakshi Temple, Ayodhya Ram Temple or anything signifies the greater influence of Indian history and culture. The Hindu nationalists in India are clearly opposing the proposed BRICS currency as ‘PM Modi has let down this ancient civilisation and our Nation by promoting Taj Mahal built by Mughal Invaders as our Country Symbol on the proposed Brics Currency while other countries displayed their Gods & Churches’.

The Taj Mahal has been the subject of several controversies. Many Hindu historians and right wing groups claim that the Taj Mahal was originally a Hindu temple called Tejo Mahalaya, which was converted into a mausoleum by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of her fiance (wife) Mumtaz Mahal. It is claimed that Shah Jahan ordered the amputation of the right thumbs of the artisans and laborers to prevent them from replicating the masterpiece.

Prominent Hindutva nationalist and VHS (Virat Hindustan Sangam) General Secretary, Jagdish Shetty wrote in his X handle, “Wah Bhai Wah Janab @narendramodi @PMOIndia you as Indian PM only found the Taj Mahal from India to put on the proposed upcoming BRICS currency finally been unveiled at the alliance’s ongoing summit in Kazan, Russia. You did Not find anything like OM ॐ, Ashoka Chakra, Sun Temple, Ganesha, Laxmi ?! The other BRIC countries have display religious symbol for their countries like Jesus,Orthodox Christian Church & Dragaon etc ! What a let down by Janab MODI ! !“

The tweet of Shetty was also reposted by reputed economist and veteran BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy with many others.

As a matter of fact, PM Modi has lost to utilise the opportunity to create an everlasting imprint of Hinduism and Indian culture and tradition on BRICS nations through its currency. But he chose a pseudo secular symbol for appeasement.

In its X handle of Hindu Existence, it is proposed that, the picture of Kautilya-Chanakya, the father of Indian economics must be imprinted  in BRICS currency.

The proposed BRICS currency note must be changed considering the majority Hindutva sentiment giving importance to Indian culture and heritage.
