Tripurasundari Temple sees massive footfall during Diwali, CM Manik Saha offers prayers in Udaipur. 

Debraj Deb | IE Online Desk | Agartala | Nov 1, 2024:: A massive gathering of devotees thronged the 523-year-old Tripurasundari temple at Udaipur in Tripura’s Gomati district, 50 km from Agartala, considered to be one of the 51 shakti peethas, on the occasion of Diwali and or Amavasya on Friday. The temple attracts over 2 lakh devotees and saints every year on Deepavali.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha inaugurated three-day long Diwali festival and fair at the Tripurasundari temple on Thursday evening and performed the ‘sandhya aarti’ in presence of former chief minister and incumbent MP Biplab Kumar Deb, Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury and others.
