Not a parking dispute, Islamists are parked everywhere by TMC to disrupt Hindu religious rights in West Bengal.

West Bengal is setting Bangladesh’s trend of hindering Hindu celebrations, specifically targeting festivals like Durga Puja, Kali Puja, and Saraswati Puja, fuelled by blatant Islamic resentment. The ruling Trinamool Congress Party (TMC) in West Bengal has created an environment that enables Islamic intolerance, compromising the religious rights of the majority Hindu population in a worst degree hitherto unseen in the state. Critics argue that TMC’s alleged indulgence has emboldened radical elements, leading to increased hostility towards Hindus. The party’s stance on Islamic fundamentalism has been deemed inadequate, allowing radical groups to flourish abundantly.

This year’s Durga Puja celebrations in West Bengal were indeed marred by controversy, particularly in Garden Reach, Kolkata. A group of local Muslims objected to the loud chanting of hymns and beating of drums during the puja rituals, citing disturbance and disruption in offering Namaz. This led to a storming of the Durga Puja pandal by some Muslim individuals, causing tension and disrupting the harmony among the communities.

In Shyampur (Howrah), the Durga Puja pandal and immersion procession were attacked  by radical Muslims near police station where many Hindu youths were attacked by Muslims in an ulterior motive. In Shitalkuchi (Cooch Behar), bovine animal head put in Durga Puja pandal by the Muslim miscreant(s) to hurt the Hindu sentiments in the same line of Bangladesh where the Islamist people are narrowing the religious rights of Hindus under a severe perpetration. In Falakata (Alipurduar) radical Muslims threatened Kishore Sangha Durga Puja committee not to  play Dhak, Shankha, or Uludhwani in Puja during Namaz time, otherwise to face the consequences of vandalism. There are several reports (including Bawali and Chandannagar) of attacks on Lakshmi Puja by the radical Muslim people this year. Such fundamental Muslims in West Bengal are in a feat to stop Saraswati Puja in schools in the state for last couple of years. The series is endless.

Maintaining this Islamic tradition of intolerance, the Kali Puja in Kolkjata has also tasted the Jihadi wrath at least in Rajabazar and Rajarhat. Though Kolkata police tried to wash out the communal attack on Kali Puja immersion as ‘Parking dispute led to clashes‘, the Jihadi people of Raja Bazar tried to create a Bangladesh scenario to frighten the Hindus of the locality so that they would shun their religious practices in an strangulated situation.

“According to the sources, stones were also allegedly pelted from neighbouring (Muslim) buildings. (Kali) Immersion processions were halted as (Hindu) people started to panic and ran away from the scene.” This was not happened in a part of Bangladesh or Pakistan, it was picture of the ‘City of Joy’ and capital of West Bengal, Kolkata.

The secretary of Sastitala Barowari Puja Committee, Avinava Basu, one of the several groups that were part of the procession that day said, “We were peacefully taking out our procession. Our routes and even other details were informed and ratified by the police. Suddenly we saw there was a commotion. Stones and glass bottles were lobbed at us. We had to make a U-turn and return.” WB CM Mamata Banerjee would rejoice the situation, but leader of opposition Suvendu Adhikari vehemently objected such Islamic intolerance promoted by the ruling party.

Non stop attacks and desecration of Hindu puja and festival have gained a momentum in West Bengal.  A man named Raju Sheikh entered a Kali Puja Mandap in the Dakshindari  on Oct 31 night (Lake Town – Rajarhat area) and vandalized the Kali idol before fleeing the scene.

It’s a pertinent question how the Islamist radicals got such courage  to attack Hindu Puja and festivals beating the trumpet of  ‘scot-free’ political indulgence?  The ruling political party, the administration and police can’t deny their responsibilities for making a safe haven for the Muslim fundamentals in West Bengal.

West Bengal police always try to make an excuse for any such communal incident in a secular way as they found only a ‘parking dispute’ for a huge communal situation erupted in Rajabazar Kali Puja immersion. Sorry to say, it was not a parking dispute, rather Islamists are parked everywhere by TMC to disrupt Hindu religious rights in West Bengal.

Not only disrupting the Hindu rituals and festivals, radical elements are targeting Hindu common folk by grabbing Hindu lands, raping Hindu girls and women, killing Hindus, invading Hindu areas from a communal angel.  

It is a very alarming situation. If not underrated, a huge Hindu retaliation to come up as inevitable. All concerned must try to control the situation.
