BJP’s deceitful stand on Cow Slaughter related to removal of Art 370.

BJP’s bluff for Goraksha: Cow slaughter which was a serious crime till 2019, is now legalised in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh in Modi Raj.

I had briefed His Holiness Sri Shankaracharya Ji of Jyotirmath (Badarikashram) Sri Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj Ji about BJP’s deceitful stand on Cow Slaughter related to removal of Art 370 as in the following:

“As per sections 298A, 298B, 298C & 298D of the Jammu & Kashmir State Ranbir Penal Code enacted by the then Maharaja of J&K in Samvat 1989 corresponding to 1932 CE, cow slaughter, possession of beef, etc was a non-bailable crime punishable with 10 years imprisonment and fine. The BJP led Central Government enacted the J & K Reorganisation Act, 2019 consequent to amendment of Article 370 of Constitution, by which the said Jammu & Kashmir State Ranbir Penal Code was repealed. As a result, cow slaughter which was a serious crime till 2019, is now legal in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

If the RSS-BJP-Modi had any residual concern against slaughter of cows in particular and for Hindutva in general, it would have excluded sections 298A, 298B, 298C & 298D of the said Jammu & Kashmir State Ranbir Penal Code from repeal, OR would have incorporated those sections into the Indian Penal Code (now Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita). But they did neither.

Further, not only the Pseudo Hindutva RSS-BJP-Modi Central Government not enacted a central law banning cow slaughter in exercise of powers conferred by Article 48 and Entry No. 17 of List-III of Schedule-7 of Constitution but it had also revoked the ban on cow slaughter in J & K and Ladakh.

While almost all Cow Slaughter Ban Laws in various States were enacted by the Old Congress long ago even though they are not effective laws, see the list (just below), the RSS and BJP only talk about it when in opposition but does exactly opposite after gaining power.

“Nor have they banned Beef Exports. On the contrary they continue to extend all sorts of incentives for India to remain as the world’s second largest exporter of beef, for which daily more than One lakh cattle are slaughtered in flagrant violation of Article 48 of Constitution. Finally, I appeal to all Hindus that our Dharmacharyas are our guiding lights, and we should refrain from Rishi Ninda ऋषि निन्दा and Guru Ninda गुरु निन्दा which are घोर पाप. If one doesn’t agree with any of their saying, one may either ignore, or seek clarification or submit one’s point of view respectfully. Regarding the subject of Article 370, and the subsequent laws made and orders issued by Government including removal of ban on cow slaughter there, or on issues that are adversely affecting Hindus and Hindu interests, I shall be more than happy to clarify your doubts, etc.
