Maha Kumbh 2025: UP CM Yogi Adityanath inaugurates Prasar Bharati’s FM channel ‘Kumbhvani’.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | Prayagraj | Jan 10, 2025:: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched Prasar Bharati’s FM channel ‘Kumbhvani’ at the Circuit House in Prayagraj, marking the conclusion of his two-day tour. This special FM channel, broadcasting at 103.5 MHz, is dedicated to the Maha Kumbh 2025 and will be on air from January 10 to February 26.

‘Kumbhvani’ aims to disseminate comprehensive information about the Maha Kumbh, including live coverage of daily events, religious references, and stories related to the festival. The channel will operate daily from 5:55 am to 10:05 pm, making the spiritual essence of the event accessible to all.

Adityanath expressed confidence that ‘Kumbhvani’ would reach new heights of popularity and extend the spirit of the Maha Kumbh to remote villages. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Prasar Bharati for their efforts in launching the channel.

Extending his best wishes for the channel’s success, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed confidence that ‘Kumbhvani’ will soar to new heights of popularity while also bringing the spirit of Maha Kumbh to remote villages, whose residents, despite their eagerness, are unable to attend the event in person.

CM Yogi emphasized the importance of live broadcasting, stating that it would enable people in far-flung areas to experience and understand the grandeur of Maha Kumbh. This, he noted, would allow them to share the pride of this grand celebration of Sanatan Dharma with future generations.

The Chief Minister extended his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, and Prasar Bharati for their efforts in launching ‘Kumbhvani’.

The Chief Minister further observed that Akashvani had pioneered in connecting people with folk traditions and culture. Recalling his childhood, he fondly shared how he would attentively listen to broadcasts of Ramcharitmanas on Akashvani.
