How the Saraswati Puja in WB Schools & Colleges comes under the fire of TMC linked Muslim goons?

Saraswati Puja threatened at a prestigious college in Kolkata, complaint filed against Trinamool leader Sabbir Ali.

Samarpita Maity Samanta | HENB | Kolkata | Jan 30, 2025:: A Trinamool student leader, Sabbir Ali, has been accused of preventing Saraswati Puja at Yogesh Chandra Chowdhury Law College in Kolkata, allegedly threatening students with murder and rape. The college, notably, is the alma mater of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, where she studied law.

According to reports, Sabbir Ali entered the college and intimidated students, warning them against organizing the puja. He allegedly threatened to kill the students if they proceeded with the event and even made disturbing remarks about letting boys into the girls’ rooms. The Islamic fanatics of Sabbir crossed all limits when he declared  that he would see Hindu students as soon as they will appear in Anwar Shah Road.

The incident has sparked widespread outrage, with the Bengal BJP and its state president condemning the actions. College principal Pankaj Roy has also strongly denounced the incident, and students have filed a police complaint against Sabbir Ali at Charu Market police station.

Yogesh Chandra Chowdhury Law College, established in 1970, is a reputable institution affiliated with the University of Calcutta. The college has a strong legacy, and this incident has raised concerns about the safety and well-being of its students.

BJP state president Sukanta Majumdar has strongly criticized this incident. He wrote on his X handle, “The kind of threats from radical Islamist fundamentalists that were happening in Bangladesh for so long are now occurring right around our homes. Since the street is named ‘Anwar Shah,’ apparently, no Saraswati Puja arrangements can be made in the area! Now, an Islamist fundamentalist group has entered a reputed college in South Kolkata, issued a fatwa, and left. Just think—how emboldened must they be under the rule of the appeasement-driven, incompetent Chief Minister  @MamataOfficial for such shocking incidents to take place? Take a moment to reflect carefully.These incidents are happening openly near the Chief Minister’s residence, and yet she supposedly knows nothing!”

Protesting this incident, the Bengal BJP’s X handle wrote, “The condition of Hindus in West Bengal has become so dire that Saraswati Puja has been stopped at the famous Yogesh Chandra College!”

Incidentally, this allegation against Sabbir Ali is not new. A case was filed against Sabbir in the High Court last year on charges of hooliganism in the college. After that, the Calcutta High Court banned him from entering the college campus. But even then, Sabbir and his gang are allegedly roaming around the college campus. College principal Pankaj Roy said, “I cannot go to college due to Sabbir’s dominance. I work from home. When I go to college, his sons harass me. The incident that happened is very shameful.”

Few days ago, a local Muslim Trinamool youth leader recently threatened to halt Saraswati Puja celebrations at a primary school in Nadia’s Nagarukhara area, and even warned of transferring the acting headmaster within 24 hours if the puja proceeded. This time, a similar incident occurred in the heart of Kolkata itself.

What is going on in West Bengal in the name of Muslim appeasement, resulting a cease of every Hindu tradition and right in an unbelievable way.

Saraswati Puja in school and colleges is a Bengali tradition. Now it comes under the fire of Muslim goons under the cover of TMC patronage and Mamata Banerjee’s indulgence.
