Upendra Bharti | HENB | Prayag Sangam (Kumbh Nagri) | Feb 7, 2025:: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s Central Management Committee is set to convene a three-day meeting starting Friday, February 7, at the VHP’s ‘Maha Churning on Hindutva’ in Prayagraj’s Maha Kumbh Mela Tent City area at the Jhusi side. This meeting will bring together VHP officials from India and abroad to discuss pressing issues related to Hindutva.
According to Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s International General Secretary Bajrang Lal Bagda, the agenda will include discussions on freeing Hindu temples from government control, addressing population imbalance and demographic changes, and reining in the arbitrary powers of the Waqf Board. The meeting will also tackle the issue of Hindu oppression in Bangladesh and the liberation of sacred sites like Kashi and Mathura, following in the footsteps of Ayodhya. VHP may take strong steps to ban Cow Slaughter and Religious Conversion for a Hindutva Revival for making a Hindu Rashtra in India.
Additionally, the committee will explore ways to expand the organization and address specific concerns affecting Hindu society in various states. The meeting will draw representatives from 47 Indian states and other countries, including prominent figures such as VHP’s International President Alok Kumar, Organization General Secretary Milind Parande, and Joint Organization General Secretary Vinayak Rao Deshpande. National functionaries of Bajrang Dal, Durga Vahini, and other key organizational leaders will also be in attendance.
The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) is indeed stirring the pot with its Hindutva agenda at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh 2025. This is the second major event of its kind, following the Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal meeting on January 24-25. During that meeting, prominent seers affiliated with the VHP urged Hindu couples to have at least three children to safeguard their culture and majority in India.
The VHP’s Central Advisory Board emphasized then the importance of freeing temples from government control and returning holy sites to Hindus. They also expressed concerns over the declining birth rate among Hindus, stressing the need for families to have at least three children.
It’s worth noting that the VHP’s stance on these issues has been consistent, and this latest push is part of their broader efforts to promote Hindutva values and protect Hindu interests.
