RSS virtually bans Muslim entry in Shakhas. Why?

RSS Shakhas Open To All Indians Except ‘Aurangzeb’s Descendants’: Mohan Bhagwat.

Upananda Brahmachari | HENB | Varanasi | April 7, 2025:: RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has stated that all Indians are welcome to join the organization’s shakhas, regardless of their sect, caste, or creed, except those who identify themselves as “descendants” of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. Bhagwat emphasized that the doors of shakhas are open to those who say “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and show respect to the saffron flag, with no discrimination based on worship methods.

According to Hindustan times, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat stated, “The doors of shakhas are open for all those who say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and show respect to the ‘saffron flag’. In the ideology of the Sangh, there is no discrimination on the basis of the worship method.” This remark was made during a shakha in Varanasi, where Bhagwat was responding to a volunteer’s question. The interaction occurred at Lajpat Nagar Park in Varanasi’s Maldahiya area on the fourth day of Bhagwat’s visit to the city.

In such a way RSS Chief tried to pacify the Hindu wrath against Hindus Aurangzeb’s tomb for which two of his organisational leaders tried to downplay the issue earlier by saying, ‘Aauragzeb is irrelevant today’ (as said by RSS national publicity in-charge Sunil Ambekar) and ‘Those who have regards to Aurangzeb, they can visit the tomb’ (as said by RSS senior leader Bhaiyaji Joshi).

As a matter of fact, the love for Muslims by RSS has not been taken for granted by the majority of  Hindu society who believe in Hindutva and vehemently RSS Chief’s statements like, ‘Hindus and Muslims have same ancestors’, ‘ Hindus and Muslims have Same DNA’, or ‘Hindu Rashtra cannot be completed without Muslims’. Hindus are confused with the stand of RSS for their views for absurd Hindu-Muslim unity adopting a seer secular approach.

In such a scenario, RSS Chief’s statement in a Varanasi Shakha (centre for daily activities) as “RSS Shakhas are open to all Indians except Aurangzeb’s descendants” and “The doors of shakhas are open for all those who say Bharat Mata Ki Jai“, virtually bans Muslim entry in Shakhas.

According to Quran, Muslims are denied to make friendship with non believers at the cost of rejecting the fraternity in Islam. So, Muslims will not be able to join Shakhas  to make friendship with Hindus by rejecting the legacy of Aurangzeb. Again, Muslims believe in a single entity of Almighty, i.e. Allah.  Worshipping or glorifying other gods except Allah is a worst sin in Islamic belief system. Then they are not allowed to chant, Bharat Mata Ki Jai as specifically set in RSS prayer. In such a way, RSS chief prevented the entry of Muslims in RSS   Shakhas.

But, this is not the end of the story. Actually, RSS does not know what’s its real need for organisational advancement and prosperity. RSS needs the support of Hindus for exploiting them with the promise of a fake Hindu Rashtra with its vision of  lame ‘Cultural Hindu Rashtra’ concept, without franchising the existence of a much needed ‘Dharmik (Cultural)-Samvidhanik (Constitutional) and Sarvabhoum (Sovereign)’ Hindu Rashtra. On the other hand, to garner the Muslim support (which is absolutely absurd) RSS has been trying hard to mislead everybody by depicting another picture by saying ‘Hindus and Muslims have same ancestors’, ‘ Hindus and Muslims have Same DNA’, or ‘Hindu Rashtra cannot be completed without Muslims’. Otherwise, it will be assumed that RSS speaks one thing for its cadres (Swayamsevaks) and gives another message to the society in a sharp contrast.

If it is not corrected by another narrative (read master-stroke), Mohan Bhagwat’s  recent comment, “RSS shakhas are open to all Indians except the  Descendants of Aurangzeb“, has made a full stop to the entry of Muslims in RSS.
