Put Hindu Interest  First: VHP’s Strong Message to the Government.

VHP Urges Govt to Put Hindu Welfare at the Forefront, but Govt thinks to deprive Hindus in many tricks.

The VHP’s call for prioritizing Hindu interests and promoting larger families reflects its positioning as a defender of Hindu values in the face of perceived threats and challenges.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | April 11, 2025:: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has made a fresh appeal to the government, emphasizing the need for policymakers who prioritize Hindu interests. Speaking at an event, VHP’s Organizing General Secretary Milind Parande stressed that the government, whether at the state or central level, should comprise individuals committed to protecting Hindu rights.

Parande’s comments come amid the RSS’s growing focus on Hindutva, the ideological foundation of the organization. The VHP leader also reiterated the organization’s stance on population growth, advocating for Hindu families to have at least two or more children. This position is seen as a response to concerns over demographic trends and perceived population growth imbalances between different communities.

The VHP is currently celebrating Ramotsav and Hanuman Jayanti, using the platform to promote its ideological views and strengthen Hindutva. Parande emphasized that the ideology of Lord Ram requires bolstering Hindu identity and safeguarding Hindu interests. The event, which began on March 30, will continue until April 12, with plans for 50,000 celebrations across the country.

Parande also expressed concerns over religious conversions and “Love Jihad” in districts bordering Nepal. He highlighted the recent Mahakumbh in Uttar Pradesh as a significant event that spread the message of Hindutva, emphasizing the need to take this message to every household.

The VHP’s stance has sparked debate, with some experts warning that population control measures can lead to societal imbalances and infringe on reproductive rights. Others argue that addressing demographic shifts is essential for maintaining balance.

The VHP’s call for prioritizing Hindu interests and promoting larger families reflects its positioning as a defender of Hindu values in the face of perceived threats and challenges. As the organization ramps up its activities, its message is likely to resonate with many, particularly in the context of religious and cultural identity.

As a matter of fact, the policies taken by the BJP-led Union Government or BJP-run state governments have not helped Hindus in any event or scheme. There are several specific Central and State Government schemes and programs for the welfare of Muslims, from which Hindu citizens are grossly deprived.

The Union Government’s removal of Article 370 was heavily advertised, but not a single Hindu Pandit could be reinstated in the Kashmir Valley with a rehabilitation package. Now, the Waqf (Amendment) Act 25 has taken control of a larger portion of 37 lakh acres of land, mostly belonging to Hindus, which was illegally occupied by Waqf and already registered by the governments prior to the promulgation of the Act.

While keeping the Sharia Act intact to allow for Muslim personal laws including keeping four wives each male person, the ruling governments have been depriving Hindu citizens by not reforming the Hindu Code Bill. In fact, Hindus have been deprived in many ways by political parties and governments since independence.
