From Home to Nation: Bageshwar Dham Pontiff’s Blueprint for a Hindu Rashtra.

“The dream of a Hindu nation begins with a Hindu home”. What is in Bageshwar Dham Pontiff’s First Model Hindu Village in Gadha.

by Upananda Brahmachari

India is home to numerous villages that are exclusively populated by Hindus, Muslims, Christians, or Buddhists. However, when Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the chief pontiff of Baba Bageshwar Dham, declared the establishment of a model Hindu village, first ever in its kind in Gadha, it sparked controversy and raised questions about India’s secular fabric!

Located approximately 350 kilometers from Bhopal, Gadha is a village in the Bundelkhand region of Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh. Once a sleepy and dusty village, Gadha has undergone a transformation, earning the distinction of being India’s “first Hindu village.” This development was announced by Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, popularly known as Baba Bageshwar Dham Sarkar. This Gram Nirman project is designed is for the Hindu, by the Hindus and of the Hindus.

Historically, Gadha had a population of around 3,300 people, primarily engaged in agriculture and tourism related to the nearby Khajuraho temples. The village has a significant Hindu population, along with a substantial presence of Dalits, OBCs, and tribal communities. Today, Gadha has evolved into a thriving temple settlement, with Baba Bageshwar Dham at its center.

The regions of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Bundelkhand have been targeted by Christian missionaries seeking to convert vulnerable Hindu populations, particularly Dalits and ST communities. There has also been a notable increase in the Muslim population in these areas, which has contributed to the erosion of Hindu majority power. The so-called secular wave has enabled non-Hindus to continue their aggression against Hindus. However, when Hindu leaders attempt to resist this trend, it often becomes a contentious issue.

It is worth noting that the Communist Party of India, during its tenure in Kerala, established a Muslim district in 1969, setting a precedent for empowering Islam in India. Similarly, Prime Minister Indira Gandhi allowed Christian missionaries to operate in the North-East region. Over time, Islam and Christianity have gained prominence in various parts of India, including Kashmir, Kerala, Bengal, and the North-East states. Many places in these regions retain Hindu names, despite having no Hindu residents.

However, when Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri aims to create a Hindu village as a center of Hindu empowerment to protect Sanatani people, it faces opposition. On April 2, Shastri laid the foundation stone for what he calls “the first Hindu village” in Gadha, which falls under the Rajnagar tehsil. Bageshwar Dham, known for its Balaji temple, is also located in the same area.

Following the foundation-laying ceremony held on April 2, Shastri released a video emphasizing that the dream of a Hindu nation begins with a Hindu home. He stressed that the concept of a Hindu Rashtra can only be realized through the creation of Hindu homes, villages, districts, and ultimately, Hindu states. Shastri’s vision is to establish a model Hindu village in Gadha, free from Adharmik influences and superstitions, providing a safe haven and secure environment for Hindus.

This village aims to offer Dharma Sikshan, modern education, healthcare, environmental protection, financial prosperity, and family care. It will also strive to resist Love Jihad, Land Jihad, conversion, and cow slaughter. By establishing such villages, Hindus can protect their existence, sentiment and interests. The Hindu model village in Gadha will feature a comprehensive range of facilities, including  Ved Pathashala, Yajnashala, Goshala, Arogyashala, and Dharmashala, promoting the Sanatan values of Dharma, Arth, Kama, and Moksha, and the four stages of life, Brahmacharya, Garhasthya, Vanprastha, and Sannyas.

There are numerous Muslim and Christian villages in India where Hindus are not permitted to purchase land or marry Muslim or Christian women. In light of this, it is pertinent to ask why Hindus cannot adopt a similar approach. In the past, Hindu villages have extended generosity to Muslim and Christian families, only to see them invite others from their community, leading to a rapid increase in population. Hindus cannot afford to be victims of such situations repeatedly.

Every Hindu, whether an individual or organization, must appreciate the concept of a Hindu-only village in Gadha, as proposed by Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri to materialize his goal of Hindu empowerment. Hindus must view their families as miniature Hindu Rashtra, adhering to Sanatan tenets and avoiding all forms of pollution coming from Islam, Christianity and Secular system. Shashtri has his vision of Hindu defense mechanism using bhala (spear) with chanting the name of God in mala (rosary) immersed into devotion. This approach should be maintained in the formation of Hindu villages, towns, and areas, ultimately transforming them into a Hindu State and Nation. Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s initiative in Gadha marks a significant step towards establishing a Cultural (Dharmik), Constitutional (Samvidhanik), and Sovereign (Sarvabhoum) Hindu Rashtra in Bharat.

The concept of Hindu villages, towns, and areas could be a step towards creating a Hindu State and ultimately a Hindu Nation. By establishing such villages, Hindus can protect their rights and interests, and resist threats like Love Jihad, Land Jihad, Waqf, Conversion, Untouchability and Cow-slaughter. Hindus must build up their own ecosystem for their sustainable development and dignified  existence in a meaningful way.

Every Hindu, be it an individual or an organization, should wholeheartedly support Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri’s vision of establishing a Hindu-only village in Gadha under Bageshwar Dham. While some may view this initiative as controversial, many Hindus see it as a necessary step to assert their identity and protect their community. As Baba Bageshwar Dham says, “The dream of a Hindu nation begins with a Hindu home.”
