Complaint filed against CafePress for blasphemous depiction of Hindu Deities.

Stop vilification of Hindu deities as painted on Thong Panties marketed by Cafepress.

Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | May 15, 2025:: In an another set of vilification of Hindu deities and humiliation of Hindu sentiments, the online marketing platform Cafepress is selling thong panties painted with the pictures of Lord Ganesh, Lord Shiva and so on.

Noticing this utter attack on Hindu sentiments, Advocate Amita Sachdeva (AOR – Supreme Court of India), complained the matter to the officer-in-charge, Cyber Crime Cell, New Delhi to down the Cafepress website from Indian domain.

Taking her X handle, Advocate  Sachdeva drew the attention of the Cafepress authority, US President Donald Trump, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and national Human Rights Commission to restrain the errant marketing platform from further damaging of Hindu sentiment.

Advocate  Sachdeva wrote in here X handle: “How dare you, CafePress, mock the sacred symbols of one of the world’s oldest and most peaceful faiths?

@CafePress is based in the United States. We urge U.S. President Mr. @realDonaldTrump and relevant U.S. authorities to take strict action against those responsible for this insult to Hindu Dharma and ensure accountability for such offensive and insensitive content. We urgently call for immediate action to suspend such content and ensure that the dignity of Hindu Dharma is upheld.”

Joining the row, Upananda Brahmachari, the senior Hindu interlocutor and Hindu Existence website wrote directly to the CafePress authority to withdraw the objectionable thong panties from their marketing platform with immediate effect.

In his complaint Brahmachari wrote: “The design of your advertised Thong Panties depicting with the pictures of Hindu deities hurt our religious sentiments. Please be refrained to sell those or to advertise further.

Already Advocate Amita Sachdeva (AOR – Supreme Court of India) objected the matter vide https://x.com/sachdevaamita/status/1923027565117350240?s=46

In this context, please withdraw all such Thong Panties from your portal cafepress.com with immediate effect.”

This is real time to ban and boycott CafePress for its Blasphemous Depiction of Hindu Deities on Thong Panties, if they don’t withdraw their items hurting the sentiments of million of Hindus of the world.
