A Call to United Bharat: Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnaad Mahotsav Charts Path to Hindu Rashtra.

Upendra Bharti | HENB |  Ponda (Goa) | May 17, 2025:: The Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnaad Mahotsav, marking the 83rd birth anniversary of Sanatan Sanstha’s founder, Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, and the organization’s silver jubilee, began on May 17, 2025, at the Engineering College Ground in Farmagudi, Ponda. The event, which will continue until May 19, 2025, has drawn over 25,000 seekers and devout Hindus from 23 countries, including 5,000 participants from Goa alone in a grand display of spiritual and cultural fervour.

A Convergence of Spiritual, Cultural and Political Leaders

The inaugural session witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities from the Dharmik (Righteous) , Samajik (Social), and Rajnitik (Political) spheres. Notable attendees included Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Padmashri Bharmeshananda Swami of Padmanav Datta Peetham of Goa, and Renowned Kathavachak Devkinandan Thakur of Vrindavan. Union Minister Shripad Naik, Yaduveer Kirshna Datta Chamraj Wadiar Ji of Mahishur dynasty, and Abhay Vartak and Chetan Rajhans of Sanatan Sanstha also graced the occasion.

A Vision for Sanatan Hindu Rashtra

The speakers at the event emphasized the importance of establishing a Sanatan Hindu Rashtra in Bharat to maintain its roots in Sanatan Dharma and Sanskriti (culture). They highlighted the need to revive core tenets of Sanatan Dharma, such as the reverence for Gomata (cows), Ganga, Gayatri, temples, and Vedic scriptures. The event aims to take another step toward establishing Hindu Rashtra, with a focus on promoting cultural heritage and spiritual growth.

All the speakers gave the importance of an United Bharat on the strength of India’s ‘unity in diversity’ rooted in the ethos of Hindu Dharma and Sanskriti.

Government Support and Endorsement

Goa CM Dr. Pramod Sawant welcomed the activities of Sanatan Sanstha and its founder, Dr. Jayant Balaji Athavale, as the saviors of Hindu Dharma and Sanatan Sanskriti.
