The video, which was posted by Hasan Media two months ago and has been watched over 1.3 lakh times, shows Faruqi using hate-filled rhetoric against Hindus and India, sparking widespread outrage and concern.

A Threat Against Kolkata

In the video, Faruqi brazenly declares that if the Bangladesh army permitted it, he would plan an attack on Kolkata, boasting that suicide bombers would be more effective than fighter jets. “If the Bangladeshi army tells me to go capture Kolkata, I’ll make a plan. Forget about using 70 fighter jets, I wouldn’t even use seven planes to take over Kolkata. Why would I need 70 planes? I would send suicide bombers to Kolkata,” Faruqi says, his words dripping with venom and hatred.

Taliban Tactics and Hate Speech

Faruqi’s endorsement of Taliban tactics is unmistakable, as he cites the group’s successful use of suicide bombing against superpowers like the US and the Soviet Union. The cleric’s hate speech against Hindus is equally alarming, using derogatory language that is both shocking and disturbing.

The video, which was uploaded on March 8, has gone viral on social media, with several Bangladesh-based Hindu rights bodies sharing it and expressing their outrage. The video’s popularity has far exceeded the channel’s average, with over 130 times more views, nearly 90 times more likes, and almost 600 times more comments.
