Protest Rally in Kakdwip Over Kartik Maharaj’s 10-Year-Old false Rape Case Conspiracy.

Kakdwip Rallies Against Falsified Rape Charges Against Kartik Mahara Allegedly Occured 10 Years Back.

Somnath Sardar | HENB | Kakdwip | June 29, 2025:: A massive protest rally was held in Kakdwip, West Bengal, against the alleged conspiracy to frame Swami Pradiptanandaji, popularly known as Kartik Maharaj, in a false rape case dating back more than 10 years. The rally, organized by Hindu Suraksha Vahini and Kakdwip Branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha, saw participation from members of various organizations, including Hindu Milan Mandir, Hindu Jagran Manch, and Muslim Rashtriya Manch.

The controversy began when a woman accused Kartik Maharaj of raping her repeatedly, promising her a job, and pressuring her into getting an abortion. However, it has been revealed that the woman was allegedly provoked by the infamous I-PAC and Didir Lokjan (People of Mamata Banerjee alias Didi) and one Dipak Bepari on Bong News Live)  linked to the ruling party’s election propaganda, to make the complaint in a heinous manner to defame the septuagenarian monk, who is a Padma Shri awardee for his contributions to the regeneration of Sanatan Dharma and Spirituality.

According to a senior BJP leader and a member of the West Bengal legislative assembly, Asim Sarkar,  the woman who tried to tarnish the character of Swami Pradiptanandaji by alleging a rape incident 12 years ago had also filed a rape complaint against her father-in-law earlier, and her husband was compelled to commit suicide due to her unbearable lifestyle, hinting at debauchery.

Swami Pradiptanandaji is the head monk of Bharat Sevashram Sangha’s Beldanga Branch in Murshidabad district, which runs various welfare activities, including over a dozen schools, hostels, tribal welfare centers, training centers, and a hospital. Notably, more than 80% of the beneficiaries of these schemes are from minority communities.

Last year, a massive Gita recitation program was held at the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, where over 1 lakh devotees participated, led by Kartik Maharaj. This event boosted the Hindu movement in West Bengal. This year, Kartik Maharaj has planned to repeat the Gita recitation program in the same place on December 7, with 5 lakh participants. The event is expected to draw massive popularity, which may have instigated to the ruling party’s alleged conspiracy against Kartik Maharaj to stop his movements.

The rally condemned the conspiracy against Swami Pradiptanandaji and urged the public to raise their voice against misadministration, corruption, attacks on Hindu temples, and women. Veteran Hindutva leader Upananda Brahmachari assured a relentless fight in the court of laws in favor of Kartik Maharaj.

Bikarna Naskar of Hindu Jagran Manch highlighted the increasing rape and molestation of Hindu girls and women in West Bengal, amid police inaction. He warned of a strong and unforeseen Hindu movement across the state if Kartik Maharaj is arrested.

Swami Adhaytmanandaji of Bharat Sevashram Sangha compared the purity of Kartik Maharaj to the water of the Ganges, saying that just as the Ganges remains pure despite the influx of pollutants, Kartik Maharaj’s purity and reputation will not be tarnished by any scandal or conspiracy. Swamiji declared to hold a huge Hindu convention and rally at Kakdwip on July 18 and 19 to honor Padma Shri Swami Pradiptanandaji (Kartik Maharaj) in a befitting manner.

Reputed social activist Tapas Pramanik and Samrat Parua of Hindu Suraksha Vahini, along with Pratap Hazra of Bhavani Sena, were also present in the program.

Murshidabad Police is probing the alleged matter and has registered an FIR against Padma Shri Swami Pradiptanandaji Maharaj.
