Upendra Bharti | HENB | New Delhi | July 20, 2025:: In a shocking revelation, the Uttar Pradesh Police’s Special Task Force (STF) has uncovered a vast network of alleged conversion and financial irregularities linked to Changur Baba, alias Jamaluddin. The accused, who claimed to be close to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and its affiliate organization Muslim Rashtriya Manch, used Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s picture on his letterhead to gain influence.

The Allegations

According to the STF, Changur Baba’s organization, Bharat Pratikartha Seva Sangh, was allegedly involved in converting people from Hindu and other non-Muslim communities by luring them. The organization’s general secretary, Changur Baba, and its anonymous operator, Aidul Islam, reportedly mentioned the names of top RSS leaders during meetings with government officials or political leaders, which may have contributed to the lack of action against him.

Unsupported sources claim that ‘Conversion’ and ‘Love Jihad’ kingpin Changur Baba was close to the operators of ‘Muslim Rashtriya Manch’ (MRM), an affiliate body of RSS, and tried to meet or met Indresh Kumar, the veteran RSS pracharak who founded MRM in 2002. Inspired by RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat’s ‘Same DNA’ theory, Changur Baba allegedly multiplied his ‘Conversion’ plan and ‘Love Jihad’ racket, using Gandhi and Modi’s pictures on his letterhead. In such a way RSS allows anti-Hindus in its realms.

Financial Irregularities

The investigation has revealed that Changur Baba has properties worth over Rs 100 crore in Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, most of which were built by encroaching government land. The STF has also found that Aidul Islam had illegally bought land in collaboration with local officials. Furthermore, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has alleged that Changur Baba planned to open a militant training center with foreign funds, amounting to at least Rs 500 crore, sourced from Pakistan and various countries in West Asia.

Investigative Agencies’ Actions

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has initiated a separate investigation into the matter, while the Yogi administration has already demolished Changur Baba’s palace built on government land. Changur Baba has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
